My Experience

34 years of quality childcare experience,

The provider promotes children’s welfare and learning in an inspiring and challenging way that provides a safe and inclusive environment. Exemplary systems are in place in relation to planning, assessment and safety. The children are happily engaged and occupied in a highly stimulating range of play activities and experiences. They make excellent progress in their learning and development. The provider and assistants have a highly successful partnership with parents; they are consulted and involved and kept well informed of their children’s daily routines, care and learning. Also, very positive links with others promote excellent quality and continuity of education and care. The setting demonstrates a huge capacity for continuousimprovement and self-evaluation is rigorous.

The provider and her assistants are committed and work extremely well as a dedicated team to promote an excellent and inclusive service to both children, parents and carers. Exceptional documentation, policies and procedures are in place and copies are available to parents and discussed to ensure they are kept fully informed of her childcare. They maintain children's individual daily diaries, a very informative notice board, detailed questionnaires and parents are able to view and comment on their children's assessments. This helps them to monitor the service they provide. Parents are very well informed of the early years foundation principles in the welcome packs with exceptional involvement in their children's learning and development.

The environment is highly stimulating. She has developed an excellent range of accessible resources to help children to explore and investigate and fully promote diversity.
Children benefit from being cared for in a home which is extremely clean, warm and well maintained. Stringent hygiene routines and very good cleaning rotas are followed to ensure children's good health. For example, children are fully aware of hand washing after activities and visit the dentist with the provider and assistants to enable them to enhance their hygiene awareness. They are involved in activities to remind them about fruit and vegetables. Furthermore, they grow their own produce in the rear garden, such as tomatoes, peas and sweet potatoes. Children are very well nourished and develop an awareness of healthy eating as a very well-balanced and nutritious diet is in place to aid their growth and development.

Below are the latest reviews for my childminder. Please note that reviews represent the subjective opinions of other Childcare.co.uk users and not of Childcare.co.uk. Parents must carry out their own checks and references on childcare providers to ensure that they are completely happy before enaging in the use of their services.

I send my baby boy from 4 months old to this childminder for 5 days a week and stayed with them for over 6 months until we moved home.

Everyone there is so loving and caring, treats my baby like their own and totally spoils him! He is so happy to be there all day long, built up a really good bond with all the carers and children there, in the end knowing we are leaving made a lot of girls quite upset.

If you are busy working parents have to let someone else look after your child but worried sick whether your baby will be happy, I strongly recommend this one, they already become our extended family :)
