A bit about my background: I originally come from Venezuela my mother tongue language is Spanish. I’ve been living in the U.K for the past 15 years.
I completed secondary school in the U.K and then attended to college where I achieved my qualifications in childcare level 2 and 3. I continued my education and achieved a Psychology Degree at Roehampton University. I have also Achieve a level 2 certificate in Counselling for children.
I consider myself a loving and caring person, I enjoy long walks in the park and having fun with the children from messy play to cooking, singing and watch them grow and develop through the years.
I am a reliable and trustworthy person, capable to work under pressure and alongside parents, in order to fulfil my duties as a nanny. I consider myself outgoing and I like challenging myself to become the best I can be.

My Experience
After I completed my diploma in childcare I took on a job as a nursery nurse in a day nursery,m. I worked there for a continuous period of 8 months. I worked mainly with toddlers but I had the opportunity to work for some time in the baby room. I gained a great amount of knowledge and experience while working in the nursery.
After a few months working in the nursery I’ve got offered a job as a full time sole charge nanny, I looked after two little boys aged 2 and 5. I had to prepare meals, I planned fun activities during the day these included from messy activities at home, and helping with homework, to walks in the park and playgrounds. I enjoyed every second while I was looking after them but sadly I had to leave my full time role, as I wanted to continue my studies.
Soon after completing my Psychology degree I've got offered a full time nanny position looking after two boys 10months old and 3 years old. I worked with the family from 2013 but sadly the youngest started school in 2016 and the family no longer needed me full-time. During my 3 years working with the family my duties included sole charge of both children, as well as general nursery duties such as laundry and cooking. I also traveled with the family abroad, I did babysitting and proxy parenting when the parents were away on business.
In February 2017 I’ve got offered a full-time sole-charge nanny position looking after a 16month little girl. I looked after the little girl and her sibling born in September 2018 until August 2019 when I started my maternity leave. While in this position In January 2018 until August 2019 I also did a nanny-share looking after the little girl’s 1year old cousin as well as her and her sibling.
Even though I have been offered to continue my position with my current family and with the opportunity to take my baby with me, my husband and I have decided to relocate to Bournemouth.
I would like to find a position where I can bring my baby along with me (she was born in October 2019) as I would like her to benefit from the social interaction with other children as well developing and growing around other children.
As I believe children need stability and they benefit from a great nanny/ parent relationship I am hoping to find another long-term position in which I can build great relationship/ teamwork with the parents.
I have more than 10 year experience, I am OFSTED registered. I have excellent references available.
My Qualifications
I currently hold a level 2 and 3 qualification in childcare. As part of my level 3 qualification.
I have a Psychology Degree as well as a level 2 certificate in counselling for children. I am also a fully qualified Montessori Directress.
I have great references from previous and current employers.
I have completed paediatric first aid training, I am DBS Checked and OFSTED registered.
