About Me
I am an ofsted registered childminder and have been for over 20 years. I have an assistant who helps me 2 full days and school pick ups, she's a mum also and has two children 10 and 15 . She is also DBS checked and has an up to date First Aid certificate also she has taken a Safe Guarding Childrens course.We are both non smokers.
I have 2 daughters and 4 grandchild.
I try to create a warm and friendly environment for the children to play and learn in. I am flexible to the needs of the children and parents in most areas ie diet and routine. However I only pick up and drop off children from Scholes Primary School and Scholes Nursery.
Children have access to the whole of the ground floor, aside from the kitchen which is gated off for safety. This includes the garden which has a range of toys - soon to include a mud kitchen. I have all the necessary facilities such as car seats, buggies, ect. and my own car (7 seats).
I also have two cats who the children love, they are regularly vaccinated, wormed and de flea'd
My Experience
I've been a childminder since 1992 and have worked with children from 3 months to 12 years old. Previous to this I worked as a nanny for around 5 years.
