Our daughter Lia went to Pattie’s at 5 months and recently left Pattie’s care at 11months.

Pros- Lia appeared to come home happy.

Cons-
-Pattie doesn’t communicate about the child’s day, we rarely had any photos of activities or any demonstrations of what they had been doing during the day.
-Lia would 90% of the time be collected in a dirty nappy.
-Pattie became very personal when we paid her 2 days late on the last month (after having paid early all other months) we were with her. She then gave us notice because to her mind the relationship had broken down and she was not willing to apologise about a rude message we got whilst on holiday about paying her 2 days late.

Pattie wanted us not to come back, she allowed us to have a months notice but acted very unproffesionaly after that and made us feel very uncomfortable leaving lia with her. So there was no goodbye process for Lia who quite clearly was just a number for a money making exercise. A very sour experience for us and fortunately now we have a place at a nursery for Lia which will give her the stability from a caregiver that a child needs; alongside this, her keyworker looks forward to seeing Lia and communicates everything Lia has done during the day.
We were left heart broken after one small issue became something which ended up having a very sour ending. I cannot forgive anybody that can treat my daughter as a number and I would never recommend someone like Pattie to look after your child.
