About Me
I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder My daughter is also an Ofsted Registered Childminder in her own right and we work together.
I am proud to have been granted a British Empire Medal for my services to education and families.
We are accredited to offer nursery education, funded 15 and 30 hour places and funded 2 year old places for eligible families as well as for parents that do not require a funded place for their child.
We have excellent working relationship with all the parents of the children that we care for and also with the schools and school staff that we come into contact with.
We love our job and work hard at it to provide a quality experience for all the children that attend. We are friendly, approachable, flexible, reliable, and respectful valuing opinions of everyone that uses our services.
We have a two childcare dedicated playrooms, extra bathroom, activity room, and dining area providing ample space for children to explore as well as having a fully functional outdoor area plus an allotment where children can join in different experiences. We also have an Atelier where we can do our creative work with the children.
We provide stimulating activities and experiences for the children in our care to thrive and develop to their full potential whilst having fun days.
My Experience
We have a well established childminder business in the Wombwell area of Barnsley
Our aim is to provide quality childcare provision for families with excellent childcare experiences for their precious little ones working with parents/carers as a team to achieve best outcomes.
My Qualifications
NVQ4 in Childrens, Care, Learning and Development, currently studying Level 5 in Leadership and Management
Paediatric First Aid
Food Hygiene
Numerous courses including behaviour management, complex needs etc.
We undertake training courses regularly for my own professional development.
We have completed the Barnsley Quality Improvement Programme.
My Availability
We are generally open between the hours of 6.30am and 6.30pm unless it is for overnight care but we can be flexible.
We currently do drop offs and pick ups at Hemingfield Ellis school and Kings Oak school in Wombwell

We have had our little girl in childcare with tracy since she was 10 months old. Due to the care given, activities undertaken and indoor and outdoor play that goes on within setting, our little girl has come on leaps and bounds.
I couldn't be happier with the care she receives so much so that we can't wait for our 11 week old son to join tracy and her team in September when I go back to work.
Sunbeams and rainbows is like a nursery in a childminders setting - one word - brilliant xx
