About Me
I am an extremely experienced nanny – I have been nannying for 23 years! I have experience of looking after children of all ages. I am reliable and trustworthy, well-organised, as well as being energetic, caring and approachable.
I especially enjoy the outdoors and love going on nature rambles or messing about in streams. I enjoy taking children to baby and toddler groups, swimming, scooter walks, trips to the park, messy play, libraries and soft plays. I can always think of activities to do at home too, and enjoy arts and crafts, puzzles, reading books together and baking.
I personally love the outdoors and keep fit by riding and walking my Jack Russell. I also enjoy reading, socializing, and spending time with my family.
I can provide great references from previous and current families. I have been with my current family for two years and I am only leaving as they can only offer me before and after school.
My Experience
I have been nannying for 23 years in Bath and surrounding areas. I have experience with new-borns through to teenagers. I have helped wean babies, potty train toddlers, transition children from pre-school to school and beyond! I have been responsible for all the children’s laundry, changing bed linen, keeping all the children’s areas tidy and clean, and cooking fresh healthy meals for all ages. I am also happy to walk the family dog and look after other family pets, from goldfish to horses. I also enjoy sewing, and am happy to mend the children’s clothes, and sew on name tapes. I aim to make the parents’ lives easier!
Being ‘mature’ I also have life experience. Although I do not have a formal nannying qualification I have years of experience and plenty of common sense. As I have worked in this region for many years I know which are the best toddler groups and safest soft plays!
I am a safe and competent driver and am willing to use my car for work.
My Qualifications
Clean driving licence.
GSE: English language, English literature, History, Maths, Art.
City and Guilds: Cookery in the catering industry, Beverage sales and service, Numeracy, Communications, Basic food and hygiene.
Currently I’m not Ofsted registered, but happy to register if it's required.
My Availability
I am available from Julyto work 2/3 days per week. Currently I work 7.45am to 6.30pm but I am flexible in my hours.

Jo has been our nanny for the last seven years and she has been great in every way. We will be sad to see her go. She has cared for our children from the ages of seven months to nine years, and has taken everything in her stride. I would thoroughly recommend her.
