About Me
I am 32 years old, I have 2 children - My son is 12 years old and has autism, complex learning difficulties and hypermobility and my daughter is 9 years old. I am a very calm and caring person with a lot of patience. I love working with children, it is such a rewarding job. I have an affinity for working with people additional needs and thrive to help them in any way I can.
My Experience
I previously worked as relief staff in a local nursery, I have previously done work experience in childcare but the last 12 years as a parent to a child with learning difficulties has taught me a lot. I have also worked at a residential home for adults with learning difficulties and mental health problems. I know a small amount of Makaton and had plenty of experience with challenging behaviour.
My Qualifications
GCSE's and a double award A level in Health and Social care.
My Availability
Generally, I am free during school hours but may be available at other times on request.
