About Me
Mum of 2 boys (6.5 and 4.5 years) living in central Putney. One has SEN and has missed half of the first 2 years of schooling due to the pandemic.
My Requirements
I’m looking for someone who can help a Y1 6 year old learn/ improve reading and writing before entering Y2 and beyond. Must have SEN experience to adjust teaching style to suit 6 year old with ADHD/ speech and language delay/ Global delay with focus and sensory issues. He has basic phonics and level 1/2 reading but no progression due to SEN and Covid preventing in school teaching. Cannot do online learning. Not looking for hot housing just to be able to build skill and confidence and regain some of the lost teaching months - and improve his reading, writing, spelling so he can access the curriculum better when he returns to school. Currently school applying for EHCP.
It would be great if also available for occasional baby sitting of him and his brother but not essential. Ideally someone local to Putney or with easy access.
