About Me
I am a mother of two children, a daughter and a son, who are now grown up.
have been a registered childminder for over 19 years, bringing up my own children and providing a service to a number of families within Tring caring for their children. I offer a warm and friendly home from home atmosphere.
My setting has both Indoor and outdoor play areas, and we learn from toys, educational supplements, books, interactive games.
We try to go out every day with excursions to local parks and indoor and outdoor play areas. Yearly excursions would include trips to the zoo, wildlife parks etc.
My Experience
I have been looking after children for over 19 years within my home. My setting has a conservatory which is laid out for the children with all the toys, educational materials, games, books and interactive learning materials they could ever want.
Outdoors I have toys and educational materials to encourage and teach children in their development.
I continuously improve my setting by bringing in new toys, equipment and educational materials.
Regular development journals are written to tailor care for individual children and their needs. Children are encouraged to develop through EYFS and reports are given to parents to view and comment on.
My Qualifications
My setting has been rated as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted during the last two inspections. I am HQS (Hertfordshire Quality Standards) inspected.
I am qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Childcare. I hold a full first aid qualification, with additional supplement in paediatrics.
I attend regular courses in relation to my work including EYFS, Safeguarding Children, First Aid, Food Hygenie, Child Behaviour, Diversity.
My Availability
My opening hours are every weekday 7.30am to 6.00pm.
