Our regular childminder let us down again but this time we could not take time off work. I contacted Annette on the off chance that they could take our two year old for the day (less than 24h notice) and up she stepped and boy did she step up.
Phenomenal service, sent us loads and loads of photos, our boy looked to be literally having the time of his life, returned to us in a fantastic mood, well fed, well changed, full confidence in Annette.

We really really had a fun day thank you so much for using our services. Your little boy is so adorable. Played well with others happy sharing with others dancing loved play group and farm our home! Loved all food given. Thank you so much to you both for using our services.

Having written two reviews here, I thought I might write a final one before my little girl leaves Annette for her first school by the end of this week. My daughter has been with Annette for nearly two years. She has been enjoying every hour with Annette and her lovely family! Annette and Eddie are constantly looking to improve their house to make it a fun place for children to learn, play and grow. they always thinking about new or thematic activities for kids to get involved. They have done a fantastic job to train my little girl up to be an independent but caring little lady. Annette and Eddie are always very calm yet passionate, which has set a great role model for both the kids and us! We will miss you so much and you’ve already become our family here! Hope to visits you regularly in the future xxx

Dear Max and Teng your lovely princess has grown so much only just a short time before we say good bye for now. She came to us a small baby and is leaving a young lady. Prepared for school. We thank you so much for giving us that opportunity of taking care of your precious young lady. We wish to share with you something so special you can keep for ever little surprise! Our baby girl has been staying with Annette and Eddie for 16 months now. She has been developing very well and has just finished her potty training. Annette and Eddie have been very caring for my daughter and always let me know how she does every day. When her speech was lagged behind a bit, Annette was even more concerned than me and has actively but gently encouraged her to repeat words that she likes. Now my baby girl is like a recorder and seems to never stop to express herself, and loves to repeat whatever her older brother is talking! Two months ago Annette told me she should be ready for potty training even before we thought about it. With Annette's very helpful advice, my daughter finished potty training within one week, which is a really big relief for us! Thank you very much Annette and Eddie for the wonderful cares. My daughter loves your whole family and always mentions everyone of you like a truly family member! I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a caring place for their little ones.

Annette and Eddie have been like a family to us and our daughter. I was very concerned when I went back to work after my maternity leave because my daughter was very attached to me, but Annette and Eddie immediately made her feel like home and the transition was super smooth. They have a very warm and welcoming home, full of new toys every day! I was very happy to know that my daughter was in a homey environment but at the same time have a week full of activities like playgoups, parks and farms to keep them entertained. Our daughter was super excited to see them every morning and she missed them terribly during holidays.
They were very accommodating with our circumstances as well, picking up and dropping off our daughter from our house every morning and afternoon. They also helped us with babysitting on emergency situations which was great help for us!
We have no doubt recommending Annette and Eddie for your childcare and we wish we could take them with us now we are moving! please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.

Annette and Eddie have just started looking after my 12 month old and my 5 yo (fetching from school etc) since I returned to work following mat leave.
We were worried as my 12 mo is clingy and not a fan of other people but he has taken to Annette and Eddie fantastically from day 1! He comes home in such a good mood - amazing!
My 5 yo also tells me off for picking him up too early!
Annette and Eddie seem to have a knack for getting fussy eaters to eat, which is a bonus! Must be Annette's fantastic home cooked food!
The setting is just perfect, no chance for any child to get bored. They really have created a haven for kids!
From the initial visit to signing contracts, the process has been smooth and professional.
I am so relieved we found Annette and Eddie and am so thankful that my boys are so well cared for.

Annette is looking after my baby even since I have returned back to work and I couldn't have done it without her! I was very nervous returning back to work after my maternity but with Annette and Eddie (her husband) i feel that I am leaving my baby back to family. They are absolutely amazing. They work very hard to provide a home from home environment for the babies, their days are full of activities and the house is full of stimulating toys for the babies to play with whilst they still keep their routine. They also offer pick up and drop off from your house which is invaluable for me working long hours.
At the end of the day they provide a diary of the day electronically and lots of pictures so you know how was your baby's day.
I highly recommend them if you are thinking about childminders for your babies!

This week is my baby girl's first week in Annette's place. We were so nervous because my baby got really bad separation anxiety, and also we didn't have any experience of childminder before and didn't know what to expect. But since our first chat through the phone, I have known that Annette and Eddie are really caring not only for the babies but also for the parents. They seem to be happy to do anything that could help the parents and the baby. Now after these three days, I have to say both my husband and I are really relieved and impressed with Annette and Eddie's service. My baby seemed to be settled surprisingly well, and is really happy (she even hugged Annette and probably didn't want to leave when my husband picked her up at the end of the third day)! Annette obviously has given her a lot of stimulations during the day with all kinds of activities (stories, painting, singing, going to the farm etc...). On the first day, I was really worried and couldn't really focus on my work, but Annette has been so kind and considerate that she sent me a lot of updates and photos just to reassure me. I really appreciate it so much! Plus, her kids are just as helpful and friendly as their parents. My baby really loves them. Even more helpful, Annette has so many little tips about parenting and childcare, and is love to share. It's like a bonus to me! I am sure I will have much more to say and to thank afterwards, but for now, thank you so much Annette and Eddie!

Thank you so much for your review we are soon enjoying taking care of you daughter. As she truly growing well.
Words do not begin to explain what my husband and I think of the marvellous service that both Annette and her husband Eddie have provided to us for over 4 years now.
I decided to go back to work, however it became very stressful because all the nurseries that I saw were more like orphanages. If I was going back to work I wanted to leave my precious child in the most capable hands possible whilst combining this with a loving homely environment. He was only 1 years old! I almost gave up but by chance came across Lillies of the Valley through Childcare. I initially discounted them as the guys are the opposite end to where I live, but low and behold Annette informed me that they have a collection service (so to speak). Whereby one of them will come and collect your child from your home and return them safely each night! Not only this but their home is clean and tidy, they have lots of things for the children to do...not that they stay home often as they are out and about at the park, playgroups, museums, the farm etc etc. Food is all home cooked and freshly prepared every day. Again another plus for me as a working mum!
Over the years we have gotten to know Annette, Eddie and the rest of their wonderful family, particularly the new little addition in their family who our little boy looks upon as a little brother, and the elder two girls as big sisters. Writing this brings a tear to my eye in a very fond way, because if these guys didn't do what they did and give me the comfort in knowing my little boy was safe, cared for, having fun and getting educated...I would not have been able to go out to work! They will be sorely missed, but we have new friends through this.
There is so very much more I can talk about, but I simply wouldn't stop. They are amazing and I would recommend them to anyone.
They are worth their waiting gold!

My 2 children were looked after by Annette and Edward, they had a very happy time together with the family. My daughter started school but my youngest son is still with Lillies of the valley and he is thriving! its been nearly a year since the children started with the family and I have not looked back, it means so much to have my little one being looked after so well :)
The standards of care are extremely high, such a dedicated team that have been a real blessing to us. Warm, loving, homely enviroment with a wonderful garden! not to mention pick up and drop off service which is such a bonus.
I would highly recommend and would like to say well done and thank you to Lillies for doing such a fantastic job!

Annette and eddie looked after my son for two years until i had another round of maternity leave.
My little boy loved going there, he came on so much under their care. It is a lovely, caring, homely environment and i am hoping to use their service again (if i return to work).
