About Me
I am an experienced teacher who is now looking for local babysitting roles. My most recent nanny role working with an adorable family with pre-school twins and a 5 year old is coming to an end and I am looking for ad hoc after school/ evening work.
Over the past ten years, I have gained plenty of experience whilst working with children in various settings. Throughout this time, I have worked as a play worker, a nanny, a teaching assistant and a primary class teacher. Alongside this, I do babysit children so I have a good understanding of how to work with children in and out of an educational setting. My broad range of experience has developed my understanding on how children play, learn and communicate, which works as a massive benefit when working with children in all settings. I also have experience in before and after- school pick-ups, after school activities, cooking, light house cleaning, homework and preparing children for bed time.
Furthermore, I have no problems offering children light- entertainment and I thoroughly enjoy getting involved with play. Additionally, I have attended a paediatric first aid course, I hold a DBS certificate and I have applied to be registered with the update service. I also hold a full UK driving licence and a car, making flexibility in travel less of an issue.

I have a good understanding of children and regularly organise activities with the children in my family in the school holidays such as cooking, sports, karaoke, parties, and barbeques. As I have a big family, I also help chaperone on educational trips, outings to the cinema, restaurants and museums. I love organising activities and I would be able to the same for your own in order to keep them occupied after-school and more importantly during the school holidays.
During term time, I'm available weekdays and I can offer care within the school holidays. I have written references available on request.
