My Experience

I have worked in a nursery, managing the rooms to begin with then progressing onto running the nursery as deputy. I then moved into nannying to understand another aspect of childcare. Looking after children in a nursery and group setting is vastly different to looking after a child in their own home and working with a family one on one. I have experience in nannying for over nearly 10 years and had been exclusively with one family for nearly that whole time. I have enjoyed a lovely working relationship with this family.

After, I ran a preschool, taking over during covid, was a challenging but rewarding task. When I took over they had 8 children on their busiest day. I worked hard alongside my team members in developing and nurturing the preschool to reaching full capacity and then a waiting list.

Adding another aspect to my care, I have also completed my training in baby and children's holistic sleep solutions. Where I have trained in aiding parents in a supportive manner to solve sleep problems and implement effective day and night routines. Both for current and prospective parents to be. I'm a hard worker, a good cook and don't mind mucking in and helping out.

I am now looking for my next family/families to work alongside with during school hours when my two children are at school/nursery.

My Qualifications

I have a foundation degree in early years, first aid, crb, learning through play, Supporting learning with special educational needs, Diploma in childcare and early years. Level 4 holistic sleep training. 8 years +working with families as a Nanny.SENDCO training, safeguarding training.
