My 3 year old son has been going to Julia's 3-4 days per week since he was 9 months old. He absolutely adores her and she has made him part of her family. I fully intend to have him stay with her throughout his school life as it is his home from home and he loves going there.
As well as providing a fantastic, welcoming and caring home environment for the children, Julia is always very professional. She is excellent at keeping me updated on what happens each and every day, with daily photos and stories so that you know exactly what's happened. Julia has activities planned for the children every day, whether it's going to a local baby & toddler group or simply heading out for some fresh air and a play at the park with friends. So the children are constantly mixing with others and learning how to socialise - my son knows more people in the town than I do! Other mums who are friends of mine and see Julia with my son at various activities always say how lucky I am to have her as she takes such good care of him and it's clear that they have a good bond.
Julia works with you on helping your child tackle the different milestones they face as well, e.g. potty training. She'll take her cue from whatever you want to do and continue it in her home so that it's consistent and I've found it really helps to have her reinforce whatever I am trying to do at home.
I can't recommend Julia highly enough. In fact, when I found out I was pregnant with my second son I told her before I told a lot of my friends & family just to make sure that she had a space for him as I couldn't imagine him being looked after by anyone else. It's so reassuring to know that your kids are in such good hands.

My daughter started with Julia when she was 10 months old, she was very attached to me (and me to her!) So we were very nervous about starting childcare. Julia is extremely caring, kind and wonderful with children as well as being incredibly organised and intuitive about children's individual needs and learning style. My daughter is now 18 months and LOVES going to Julia's, she has a great routine which we carry on at home and she is developing into a confident little person because of the support and care she receives at Julia's. Julia will keep you updated with a diary which details what she ate, how long she slept, nappies, mood and what they did. And also text messages (she always seems to know when you could do with a reassuring message!) and takes lovely photos of the little ones doing their activities. The children go for a walk and get outside every day, they have healthy snacks and play fun learning games. Apart from the high quality care the children get, the love and happy environment is so unique to Julia's. I can't recommend Julia enough, she's the best there is!

My daughter went to Julia after school for a couple of days a week and I was confident and happy with the care she received. Julia was always very accomodating to our requests and I would like to thank Julia for all her help. I would like to recommend Julia's Childcare services.

Our daughter has been attending Hope Childcare for a few months now (she is 14 months old and goes three full days a week), and we are extremely happy with the service. Julia provides a real home from home for our daughter, and is clearly very fond of all the children in her care. She is very organised and keeps us updated on what our daughter has been up to each day by filling out a daily diary, and chatting with us at pickup. Days are structured around the needs of the individual children, and there are lots of walks, toddler groups and craft activities to keep the little ones busy. Our daughter is thriving in the company of Julia, her family and the other children she minds - we could not be happier with our decision to use Hope Childcare!

Julia I'd fantastic with or little girl. She provides a very warm, fun environment in her home for her little charges and is always thinking up new activities for the kids. She provides a home away from home environment and puts parents at ease. She is also very flexible and understanding about changes in childcare requirements. We couldn't recommended her enough!

Wonderful childcare! A very caring and warm family environment.
Julia took the time to settle my son in at our pace which made the transition for me returning to work so much easier.
Julia focuses on planning and structuring her week, attending local playgroups and ensuring my son's routine is followed. So many great activities, my son is always exhausted from his fun packed days!

My daughter has been going to Hope Childcare after school since she started in P1. I cannot recommend Julia Hope highly enough. She is everything you could wish for in a childminder - kind, caring, attentive and an experienced mum herself. She has a lovely family home with excellent outdoor facilities. I would recommend Hope Childcare to anyone.
