Our two children (now 4 and 7) have been attending Future Stars for 7 years. We like the setting because it's a home away from home, lots of emphasis on learning through child led play both indoors, in the garden and out and about. Mngaweya takes the children out to local play groups and childminding groups so they get both individual attention in her setting as well as the benefit of group settings, which helps them as they approach school age. Our children have both thrived with her and have excellent social skills and speech development. There are opportunities for arts and crafts, physical play on the trampoline or cars in the garden as well as quiet time reading. Mngaweya has also supported us through the milestones of parenting two boys, including potty training. With really good communication we've always been aligned in our approach. Even though Mngaweya hosts children of different ages at her setting, she has always catered to each of our boys' needs and they both come home raving about their day. She also keeps us well informed about their day with a daily diary and photographs of their activities. Since reopening, post-lockdown, the Covid protocols have been excellent and, despite the changes, the boys haven't been unsettled by it at all. We would be happy to recommend Mngaweya's childcare to anyone.
