We love Mngaweya! She is amazing in many ways and outstanding as a childminder. She has looked after our two children at various times over the past 6 years, from babies until they started at the Infant school and they still love spending time with her. She ticks all boxes as an early years education provider, while also instilling confidence, independence and good manners. The children have lots of fun when they are in her care. They generally play outdoors and are given plenty of opportunities to jump in muddy puddles, bounce on the trampoline, mess around in toy cars or on trikes and play in a mud kitchen. They often visit the woods, playgrounds and have their picnic lunches out. I have studied and tried to copy the way Mngaweya talks to the children and manages their disputes and emotions, as she is skilled at creating an amazing calm and happy vibe around her. She has also been person I turn to for advice about parenting when I need a sounding board ... and finally, don't worry about saying 'Mngaweya' properly. My kids mastered it before me, and she also responds to Weya!
