About Me
My name is Katie, I have recently come to the end of my maternity leave from a 3 day a week role in a nursery in Chelmsford.
I am a hard worker and am confdent in my job role, i love messy activities such as arts and crafts and baking to encourage chlildren to be imaginative and involved in sensory activities. i have cared for children from 3 months up to 5 years old within a nursery setting and children from newborn to 12 as a nanny.
I love to read, particularly with the children and am happy to look after children in their own home or take them out to explore.
My Experience
I worked within a nursery setting for 4 years where i gained my NVQ 3 through work. In the four years I worked within the setting I managed to become a room leader and then a senior of both the 2-3 years room and also the preschool room. After leaving my full time job within the nursery in January 2013 I began nannying for two little girls aged 3 and 5 in Chelmsford until I had my little boy in 2017. After maternity leave I was a nanny one day a week in Brentwood for a family with 2 boys and continued after the birth of their little girl, I was there until December 2019 when I left to start at the nursery in Chelmsford where I worked 3 days a week until the recent birth of my daughter.
My Qualifications
I have completed my GCSEs, AS levels and A levels and also NVQ3 whilst working at a nursery setting.
My Availability
I live in Tilbury and have come to the end of maternity leave and am looking for a job where I would be able to bring my daughter to come and play too, she was born August 2021.
If I’m able to do my sons school run in east tilbury around this to it would be great but if not I have other options.
Ideally I would like 2/3 days but can do more/less.
