My name is Michelle, I am 33 years old and I completed a 3 year Early Childhood Studies BA (Hons) degree in May 2012.

My Experience
For 6 years I studied childhood studies in both college and at university during this time I completed different placements in Day Nurseries and Schools including after school clubs and Children’s centres, in these placements I have completed observations, planned activities, lead activities and carried out research for my dissertation, I have come across all sorts of children, the most important thing is to provide a stimulating and exciting environment for children so they don’t get bored.
I was with one family for 4 years 2010-2014, i kept their daughter entertained after school and during school holidays, as mum works from home.
From Jan 2014 - June 2014 I was a weekend mothers help and entertained the older children, allowing their mum to spend time with the new baby.
March 2015-Feb 2018 I was a Nanny for a lovely family in Haslemere
Feb 2018 I joined a Lovely Pre-School Setting, here I have learned a lot and built on my knowledge and experience, especially in the way of creating warm, loving and stimulating environments, so children are always kept entertained and always have something to keep them busy.
I have a great love of the outdoors, and have been in charge of forest school for the past year, this is where we take a small group of children to the woods and teach them the importance of looking after our natural environment, whilst having lots of fun at the same time.

I have just secured a new job, so not currently available.
I am also happy to help with some house work, whilst the children are at school/nursey: such as children's washing, hoovering if they have made a mess, and keeping their bedrooms and other areas they use tidy.
