My Summary

My Experience

I have several years experience working with children, mainly under the age of six, although I have looked after older children.
I have experience working with children in several different settings including a day care centre, a primary school, a special needs school, a playgroup, and a SureStart centre.
I worked in a day care nursery for three years where I was responsible for the care of young children from the age of three months to two years. Within this roll, I was responsible for providing activities for the children, feeding, nappy changing and potty changing, and carrying out observations.
I have also spent the past four years in a voluntary role in my local playgroup, where I am responsible for providing activites for the children, carrying out observations and assisting on trips.
I was also a volunteer for eleven years with the Riding for the Disabled Association, where I gained a lot of experince working with children with varying disabilities, teaching them how to ride and care for horses.

My Qualifications

Eight GCSE's Grade A-C (including English (B), Maths (C) and ICT (C))
HNC Advanced Practice Working with Children and Families
Public First Aid Certificate with St John's Ambulance
British Sign Language Level One
Clean driving licence and own car
