About Me
I have put in place an insulated garden log cabin with bi-folding doors to enable a focus on an outdoor learning environment.
I am registered to provide the new 1140 funded hours to eligible children.
I have first-aid certificate and a food hygiene certificate. These are renewed as necessary.
We like to go for regular walks in and around North Berwick on a daily basis. I also enjoy doing projects with the children in my care based on their interests and include painting, gluing, junk modeling, playdough making, baking, and many other creative play activities. I thoroughly enjoy my work and hope to continue childminding for a long time still. I live with my partner of 21 years and have lived in North Berwick all my life. I have a 17-year-old daughter who attends North Berwick High School. We also have a black labrador who is 4 years old who is lovely with all the children.
My Experience
I have worked with children all my life in various environments - The local nursery and North Berwick after-school club.
I am currently studying for a degree in Childhood and Youth Studies with The Open University, moving into my 5th year in September 2022.
I have been childminding for 19 years, I have an HNC in Childcare and Education and have maintained an excellent rating with SCSWIS. I am a fully qualified First Aider and a registered food provider.

I am currently going into the 5th year of my Degree in Childhood and Youth Studies this academic year coming.
My Availability
I am available 48 weeks of the year and throughout term holidays.
My basic hours are 7.00 am - 6.00 pm Tuesday to Thursday for this current year - 2022/23.
In August 2023 there may also be Monday and Friday spaces available.
I have limited availability at the moment: please get in touch to find out more information regarding smaller slots that are available for under and over 5 year old children.
Settling in sessions are free and can be tailored to suit individual children's needs.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
DAY CARE
I charge £6.50 per hour from August 2023, with a £0.50 discount for a second sibling within the family and the same for a third sibling.
Also discounts for children who attend full-time hours
