Kate has been a wonderful childminder to my daughter, from 10 months old to 2 years. Over the past 18 months she has undoubtedly provided an extremely warm, loving, caring and safe family environment - very much home from home, with varied activities on a daily basis, which has allowed me to return to work worry-free. At no point have i ever been concerned for her happiness or welfare during Kates care. Its also been very touching to see Kate and her family welcome my daughter into their family and getting to know her so well, almost like an extra sibling.

Similarly Kate has personally nurtured my daughters development, taking the time to show her how to use a pen, crayon, paints as well as teaching her to brush her teeth well, use cutlery and in general to eat at the table with the rest of the family. Kate has been particularly creative with painting, crafty play and singing so much so that she very much enjoys these activities on a regular basis. Kate runs Songs & Stories classes weekly and so my daughter is subsequently very animated about nursery rhymes. The garden in the spring and summer has been such a great safe play area where the chidren climb, play on the trampoline and generally get some good exercise. In the winter or wet days Kate was very diligent in taking the children to play gyms / soft play / play groups too. We have been very happy to have found Kate and feel sad the time has come to an end.
