Hello my name is Georgia Leigh Wood. I am a fun and enthusiastic young lady who enjoys caring for and looking after young children of all ages. I am very patient and enjoy a challenge. I am very creative and love to encage children in arty play as well as out door play incoporating learning as much as I can. I'm a very reliable person who is good with time keeping, I have a very outgoing personality which is proven to work well with children.
My Experience
I have 8 years of experience with the looking after of young children, working as babysitter, support worker and nanny I am also a new mum to my 3 year old girl called Olivia. From a young age I helped my sister bring up her eldest daughter, who is now 8,and she now has 3 more children whose ages vary, amber is now 7, teagan is 5 and tyler is 4, I am a very important part to their lives and they enjoy me taking them out on activities and staying at their aunties. I also have a 6 year old brother who I spend the most time with, he is disabled so I attend physio with him and help my mother with his care. We are extremely close.
My Qualifications
I have a NVQ Level 1 & 2 in Hairdressing and a NVQ Level 1 in Beauty Therapy.
I have recently undergone trainning with The White Lodge Centre for disabled children, Including: Food & hygeine control, manual handling and safeguarding.
I also have a full CRB certificate.
Full and clean driving license.
First aid trained
I am also researching into becoming Ofsted Registered.
My Availability
Im available Monday, Tuesday, afternoons and evenings.
I can be very flexible with the length of hours I can work but I would ideally want to join a family that will allow Olivia to join me & be part of the family.
I'm available from now onwards.
