About Me
I'm 29 and a mother to our 2 beautiful little girls Imogen who is 5 years old and Maisie who is 2.5 years old. We live in North Holmwood. I own a car and got a clean license. I'm looking for a nannying job so I can look after Maisie and be there to for the school runs for Imogen. I then can help other families with my qualifications and experience to look after their children.
My Experience
Well I have quite a lot of experience as I am a mother to our 2 daughters. We do many different activities together from playing outside to inside to going to toddler groups and walks. However, I have also got professional experience as I have worked in a Day Nursery in Dorking when I was a student and then full time as preschool room leader, third in charge and sometimes acting assistant manager. So I was there for about 5 years altogether. I also had a handful of experiences in the baby, toddler and nursery rooms.
I have also had work experience in reception and year 1 classes when I was a student.
Before having Maisie I was working as a play-worker in a after-school club at a school in Westcott and Dorking. So got experience with caring for children from reception to year 6.
I have had 2 nannying jobs since having Maisie.
I have looked after a little boy since he was 5months old to 14months old. We went out to the farm, beach, national trust places. Also did role play, arts and playing with toys. They have now moved to a different area.
Also been looking after 2 boys aged 3 and 6. Been doing school pick ups and then entertaining them till their parents got home. We have been to the park, cooking and art activities as well as chill out time.
I'm now working at a nursery in Betchworth 3 mornings a week. Planning activities, completing observations. Working with children 2.5 to school age.
My Qualifications
BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies
Within my degree I have done some courses for example: Child protection, special needs and safeguarding to name a few.
A levels:
Religious studies
Sociology
Business studies
General studies
9 GCSE's A-C grade. Including Maths, English and Science.
First Aid trained updated October 2017
I have been DBS checked.
On my daughter's preschool committee.
