My daughter has been going to Clare and Steve for 8 months now and is a very happy little lady.

I originally found Clare and Steve on this website and arranged to meet with them with my mum (an ex-childminder of 30 years with Outstanding Ofsted Status). I'd also arranged to visit 3 other childcarers on the same day and saw Clare and Steve first. As soon as we arrived I knew it was the place for my daughter. All the children were happy and confident and were able to play in a safe and fun setting. Clare and Steve have created a wonderful environment for the children with plenty of different toys, games and activities which they regularly rotate so the children always have something new to be facinated by. The house also has a lovely garden with some great Little Tikes activity toys which Evie has loved playing with over the summer months. The children are encouraged to play together - this has been invaluable for Evie as she is an only child and she's learnt social skills and sharing far more quickly than had she been at home.

I really love the daily activity book which reports on Evie's eating, pooping, sleeping and playing as well as her general happiness during the day. Aside from one day in the last 8 months when she was poorly she has always been happy and smiley.

The settling in period was made really easy with a couple of trial part days and then trial day and in the early weeks I received regular updated reassuring me that Evie was playing happily with the other children.

If you are looking for a safe, flexible, fun, family oriented environment where your child will learn social skills in a play-filled setting then this is the place for you. I'm really glad I found Clare and Steve. Both are naturals....but then they do have three of their own children so they really are experts!
