About Me
My name is Lauren and I have been working in childcare for over 6 years after completing my diploma in childcare and education back in 2007.
I am a fun, loving, caring, energetic, friendly and reliable person, who loves working with children of all ages. I enjoy planning fun and educating activities, and find it very rewarding watching the children grow and develop.
I love spending time with friends and family, and i am interested in music, drama and zoology. I have a small family but have cousins who range between 2 months old to 9 years old and love to take them for days out to the park, farms and my favourite being the zoo.
I have a full clean driving licence and my own car.
Up until October 2013 this year I worked in a nursery as third in charge and ran a room aged between 20 months to 3. I worked at the nursery for 6 years and in that time I worked in all age ranges.
I am currently working as a Nanny for a lovely family with twin daughters of 8 months but unfortunatly the family have decided to move to be closer to their work so I am now looking for another position.
I am first aid trained and hold a clean CRB.
I am looking for a full time or possibly part time nanny job. Pay and hours are negotiable. I am able to and would love to make a long term commitment, working hard and becoming a key person in your child/children's life.

My Experience
I studied health and social care in years 10 and 11 at school and left in 2005. During this time I helped out at a childminders for experience before starting my diploma in child care at collage. I studied for two years and achieved my Diploma in 2007. During the two years I trained at a variety of nurseries and schools. During my last year I had a placement I thoroughly enjoyed and applied for a job there as soon as I finished my college course. I started there in October 2007 and have been working there ever since. I started as a nursery nurse and made my way up to room leader and now recently to 3rd in charge. I have worked with all ages of children throughout the years. Through work I have completed a variety of different training courses including first aid, working with parents and family's and good hygiene.
In my personal time I enjoy looking after the younger children in my family and take them for days out.
My Qualifications
I have a Diploma in childcare and Education which I completed in 2007.
I hold a current First Aid certificate and a current CRB.
Through work I have completed a range of different training courses which include health and safety, food hygiene, working with families and parents, children's 2 year checks and outdoor play.
My Availability
I am looking for a full or possibly part time job. Hours are negotiable.
