I also have vacancies for before school at either James Brindley Primary School or Ellenbrook Primary School but am currently full for after school.
I live on the Ellenbrook estate with my husband and two daughters aged 20 and 18. Originally from Newcastle upon Tyne we moved to Manchester about 25 years ago. Prior to becoming a childminder I worked in purchasing but decided to leave so that I could send more time with my own children. I was a full time Mum for about a year and then decided to train as a childminder as I love being with young children.
My Experience
I have now been childminding for 15 years and look after a number of children most of whom are on a part-time basis, varying from 1 day per week to 4 days per week.
I am registered with Ofsted and received a Good grade on my last inspection (February 2020). I comply with all the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage and I offer 2,3 and 4 year old funding. I also have Special Educational Needs experience. I work from my home and have a dedicated room for childminding and access to a rear garden. We also visit playgroups, soft play centres and nature walks in the woods. I provide home cooked meals and can cater various dietary requirements

Our daughter has been with Nikki since she was 7 months old and we couldn't be happier with the care she receives.
Everything is varied including activities, learning and food choices.
Bronwyn really enjoys her time with Nikki and her family and often mentions her at home.
