About Me
Hello, my name is Clara. In 2012, I moved from the Alps, France, to London to improve my English and become a nanny. I am now very proud to be completely fluent in English and try to maintain my conversational level of Spanish using learning apps. It is important for me to spend time outdoors every day and I particularly enjoy it when I walk my dog. When at home, my hobbies are doing crafts while listening to music and cook a lot, although baking is what I prefer. As well as that, I like to go to exhibitions in London and the theatre.
In 2017, I decided to go to Kenya to volunteer in several orphanages. I was able to spend Christmas time with children in desperate situations and have them experience holiday festivities. This motivated me to do more when back home. I now help collect food waste from supermarkets for a homeless charity. And a few times a year participate in events that help fundraise for great causes such as Crisis or Cancer research.
I enjoy travelling both on my own or with families I worked for and love organising the luggage and can plan a full holiday itinerary. I am a good swimmer and grew up skiing every winter.
I am always looking to improve myself and I am a quick learner. I have taken several online courses to broaden my knowledge and I enjoy taking on new courses than can provide me new skills.
