My little girl Evelyn has been with Nada since just before her first birthday, when I returned to work, and after having a bad experience with a previous childminder I was a bit nervous, but I had no reason to worry. Evelyn settled very quickly and now at the age of 2.5 has developed into a happy, funny, confident and kind little girl.

Nada and David have a lovely setting with an impressive outdoor play area, (better than some nurseries we viewed). Outdoor play is a huge part of the setting and is even encouraged in the colder months with warm outdoor wear of course. As well as the play equipment Nada and David encourage the children to observe their surroundings, looking at and talking about nature and wildlife.

Indoor play is also very varied. Every day we arrive excited to see which activity is laid out for the day, the children are all encouraged to share, take turns and play nicely together, and these social skills are invaluable at this early stage. They both have a very calm and kind approach which seems to work really well, as all the children are lovely and play really well together. Any issues are dealt with in a calm and constructive way and parents are kept informed.
Arts and crafts are also a favourite with the children and we are often greeted with the creation of the day at pick up, these are also displayed on a theme board within the setting.

Nada has worked with us with regards to routines, sleep times, eating habits, and behaviour and provides us with a daily log of these. We are also kept up to date with Evelyn's development folder which is great fun, looking at all the photos and comments, some of the observations Nada has made are really enlightening, things that could easily be missed at home.

We are approaching the end of Evelyn's time with Nada and David as she sets off to nursery as a transitional stage before starting school, and we just couldn't be happier with the love and care she has received. They have played a huge part in her early development and I can not thank them enough. Her last day will be a very sad one.
