Amazing Nanny

Jemma joined our family in April 2017, looking after my then 8 month old son and my 4 year old son who had started school. Jemma is a really conscientious nanny, and has supported the two boys to develop and grow. She put us at ease with her confidence with the children, and built a really quick bond.
Jemma would undertake full Nanny duties and activities across the day from Breakfast through to Bedtime routines.
Jemma has ensured the children undertake a full range of activities including clubs, toddler groups alongside spending time outside each day.
The boys loved having her youngest child attend on a couple of days, and they have very much become part of the family.
Both of my children have severe allergies, and Jemma was confident in the management of having to administer any treatment and also ensure that both were not exposed to risks at child groups etc...
As both have now reached school our requirements and logistics of drop off and pick up have changed, but I would reemploy Jemma in an instant.

Nanny for my 3 children (1 year old twins and 18 m

Jemma joined our family in November 2014, when our twins Teddy and Ellie were almost 1 and Isla was 2 1/2 years. She was with us for 18 months until I left my job to be home with the children, which coincided with Jemma going on maternity leave in July to start a family of her own.

This was the first time we have hired a Nanny and therefore we weren’t sure what to expect or how it might feel to have someone else in our house and looking after our children. With Jemma, we never needed to worry about this. She has always been considerate and never once did it feel uncomfortable. She has also been very respectful to the way in which we want to bring up our children, working with us as a team to help instill values that are important to us, such as good table manners, looking after and tidying up toys etc.

Jemma has been an absolute pleasure to have as an employee and as extended member of our family. She is trustworthy, reliable, organised and above all committed to the children in her care.

Having responsibility for 3 children all under 3 years is a fairly tough assignment, but Jemma brought calm and order to our household. She always had everything under control, with her days well planned, menus considered and activities arranged for the children. Jemma would often come into work having done some preparation in her personal time, to do activities or classes with the children. On special occasions such as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, birthdays etc., she would always make cards and gifts with them, which really added a special touch. Also, if there was an issue we were struggling with e.g potty training, dropping the afternoon nap etc. Jemma would take the time to research and look into ways in which we might be able to find solutions. This showed just how much she cared and how serious she took her responsibility as a Nanny.

Finally the biggest testament to Jemma’s capabilities as a carer for children is just how much ours love her. Even 6 months on from leaving our family, she is still regularly talked with great fondness and she has left a big imprint on our family. I would recommend Jemma wholeheartedly to any parent, but especially so if you are looking for someone who is loving and calm, someone to bring order to chaos and someone who’s utmost priority it to nurture the children in her care.

Fantastic, conscientious nanny!

Jemma has been with our family for nearly two years, looking after our two girls (now 4.5 and nearly 3) as well as keeping an eye on dogs and household!
Jemma has a wealth of experience and applies the right balance of patience and good humour, discipline and creativity, to manage everything from the most extreme toddler tantrum to happy days out playing. She has worked long days in sole charge, being responsible for every aspect of the children's care: breakfast, lunch and tea, getting them dressed, off to school/nursery, playdates, activities, bath and bedtime. She has been reliable and conscientious and a safe pair of hands. We are only having to say goodbye to her because of a change in our circumstances.

Very good nanny

Jemma worked for us, looking after our 2 children, from April 2008 to May 2009. She is a very quiet but competent nanny, she loved taking the children out to places, and was always baking and cooking with the children. Very delicious things.We were sad when Jemma told us she was relocating to Devon, but we were also happy for her. She is very reliable, trustworthy and very good at her job.
