Ophelie was kind, endearing and patient with me and my son. She carried out many activites with my son, and also brought her two sons with her. She communicated well by writing a daily nanny diary, and filling out a scrapbook with photos of activities my son did. Ophelie also provided useful advice on different arts and crafts I could do, various playgroups and other activities I could do with my son.
I found Ophelie to be punctual, very easy going, and good at listening to the needs for my son.

Great babysitter. Great with children. Genuine nice person. Very honest and caring.
Highly recommend. Only provided babysitting as that was all that was required, but would recommend as a Nanny also.

Ophelie, during her near year-long residency in the United States, cared for my two children back when they were about ages 7 and 1. She came one night a week and occasionally for short-notice events on the weekends. Bright and cheerful, Ophelie was a beacon of light to our family during a terrible time. She ensured consistency and care. My children were safe, in bed on time, and looked forward to her visits. Ophelie was tidy, punctual, and positive, too!

Ophelie looked after our two children initially aged four (son) and two (daughter) for nearly two years. She is a brilliant nanny and I would highly recommend her.
Ophelie worked for us for three long days (7.30-6pm) and was always flexible to cover any extra time needed. She is extremely reliable and rarely sick. Her duties involved creating a timetable of fun and educational activities for the children- during the week and in the holidays. She did the school run, took them to activities such as swimming, ballet, tennis. She arranged play dates with prior agreement from us. She also cooked all the meals for the children and cooked for us once a week. Ophelie is a good cook- involving the children where she can; we’ve had some delicious and nutritious meals.
Ophelie is extremely resourceful and always eager to learn herself. She has undertaken a number of courses herself around her working hours whilst employed with us. Any chance she can get to learn something new and she’ll take the opportunity- face painting was an example where our children benefitted immensely. In the last few weeks her maternity course has come into play with our newborn daughter. The children were always doing something new and creative- messy play, beautiful crafts, outside exploring and discovering nature. Ophelie took an active part in teaching our son how to read and write in support of what he was learning at school in Reception and in Year 1. She continued to do this with our daughter too now she is in pre-school.
Ophelie is extremely calm, very sensible and commands a great deal of respect from the children. She loves to play with them, teach them and nurture them. She sets strict boundaries for acceptable behaviour, instils good manners and uses warnings and eventually time out when they do not do as they have been asked. She’s confident in her abilities and the children respect and love her for it.
Ophelie is full of ideas for fun things to do and can occupy little minds at home and out and about. Ophelie likes to get out- walking with them where she can. She’s a confident and safe driver and has driven both our car and her own. She regularly took our youngest to Messy play at the Children’s Centre and made the most of the Toy libraries. Having a theme for the week worked very well. They loved the trips to the park for pond dipping and picnics.
I am sure your child/ren will be very happy with Ophelie and you’ll feel confident and happy leaving your child/ren with her each day. You’ll come home to a happy home with happy children and a relaxed and smiling Ophelie.
