Maria looked after my two year little girl. Before she started, I had huge anxiety about leaving my daughter all day, five days a week with anyone who wasn't my Mam. However Maria's genuine care and competence matched by her professionalism and dedication to my daughter's development quickly alleviated any worries I had. Within days, seeing how happy my daughter was and how much she looked forward to going and how much she enjoyed her time with Maria meant I could leave for work worry and guilt free knowing she was is such good caring hands. A genuine home from home. I would recommend Maria to anyone.

Both my children from the age of 6 months to 4 years loved going to Maria's home. Being once a nursery nurse myself and now a teacher, I was very particular on where I was going to leave my boys when I went back to work. When meeting Maria I felt I clicked with her straight away and I felt comfortable leaving my children with her, they both settled down very quickly in her happy and stimulating home. Maria was always a cheerful and pleasant childminder and was fully dedicated to her role. She cared, listened and was always loving to my children, treating them as if they were one of her own. During their time with Maria, Maria would provide well planned and full-filling activities (indoor and out and differentiated), celebrated festivals and even planned mini trips. I always remember the time when my eldest took part in a nativity and all the children had a part too. They loved it! She always provided nutritional meals and snacks and I always received feedback about their meals. I also received detailed feedback about my children's day, she always made sure she spoke to me at the end of the day. My boys are now in full-time school and I still recommend Maria to anyone, as she was a wonderful, caring childminder.

My daughter has been with Maria now since July 2015.
I first came across Maria on this website and I was very impressed with her profile. When I saw she did a school run to St Edwards (the school my son attends) I'm not afraid to say that I did some research and asked his teachers if they knew her and if they did, what they could tell me about her (desperate times call for desperate measures! It's not easy choosing someone to leave your child with!). Both of his teachers spoke really highly of Maria and were full of praise for her.
Within 10 minutes of meeting Maria it felt like I'd known her forever! She is the most approachable, friendliest person ever and its very easy to see why my daughter loves her (along with all the other children in her care).
Maria has a lovely setting, with a huge garden and lots of outdoor games/equipment. Her family, including her 2 children, husband and parents, are all amazing. My daughter especially loves her 'Nana Cath' (Maria's Mum).
I often get compliments on how advanced my daughter is for her age, and this is all down to Maria. She has helped her to grow and develop into a very happy and clever little girl.
In all honesty, I can't thank Maria enough for how great she's been over the past 2 years, and I'm sure how great she'll continue to be over the coming years.
If you are looking for a childminder and Maria has the space then you really needn't look any further. I know she'll make you and your child as happy (and grateful) as she has made us.

I was apprehensive about leaving my 8 month old daughter and returning to work. Maria came highly recommended from another parent and within minutes of meeting her for the first time , I could understand why. Maria is passionate , kind hearted and extremely committed to caring and supporting all children in her care. The welcoming, warm and stimulating environment she has created in her home , meant my daughter settled in so quickly from the start . Maria's organisation is fantastic and it was so reassuring to receive a daily diary and regular photos about my daughters day. Maria has been extremely supportive and influential in my daughters early years of development and she continues to plan exciting outings and activities which promote both learning and enjoyment. It's great to see the creative pictures / resources my daughter comes home with and it's lovely to hear how she's made them. Now nearly six , my daughter loves coming to Maria's after school and feels very much at home in her care. So much so she gets annoyed if I pick her up earlier than expected and always wants to stay longer at 'Reas'. Maria is an exceptional childminder and I feel very blessed that she has played a part in helping my daughter become the polite, caring and confident young girl she is today.

I could not have asked for a better child minder when returning to work and leaving my daughter with Maria at 9 months old. I have witnessed my daughter develop at a rapid pace, in both confidence and intellect. Maria goes way above and beyond for all her children and parents. My daughter loves going to Maria's and waves me off most days shutting the door on me! Maria provides daily diaries and lots of feedback about my child every day. Maria provides nutritious meals and snacks. Her house is a positive learning environment and they always complete lots of different stimulating activities. Maria is a real gem, a true professional and I could not be more grateful. Thank you

My children have both been in Maria’s care from 1 year of age and have grown into happy and confident little girls. Now aged 5 and 3, they consider themselves to be members of Maria’s extended family and are treated as such. The girls are always happy to be looked after by Maria and always have an exciting tale to tell. The wide range of fun activities and outings that she organises (including Halloween and Bonfire Night Parties) shows her dedication and commitment to the job.
I couldn’t be happier with the level of care that my children receive and I’m certain that being in such a positive, happy and stimulating environment is helping them to grow into the polite and caring young girls that I am so proud of. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Maria - a truly conscientious and inspiring childminder!

I had been worrying for a while about finding a childminder who could look after my little boy whilst I went back to work full time. It was recommended that I speak to Maria and meet her as a potential childminder.
At our first meeting I brought along my little boy who was only 5-6 months old at the time, he was crying uncontrollably (as a first time mum I still had no idea what I was doing) so she asked if she could help (I was more than happy) as soon as I passed him over to her he was settled, it was at this point I thought WOW....how did she do that?! I NEED her as my childminder!!
We had a few settling in days when "HD" started he was 1 year old and he seemed to settle straight away, I started to panic when he grew a bit older and he got very clingy to me, Maria told me that this was normal and it was all part of the development stages,
As time has gone on "HD" now LOVE going to Maria's and has nicknamed her "Mia" he comes home with a diary of what he has done for the day and what he has eaten its fantastic, I love being kept up to date with thing, I get pictures of him throughout the day and he even brings me things home that he has made!! Henry is now 2 and still loves going to Mia's house and I love taking him somewhere which is a home from home.
All in all i totally recommend Maria and wouldn't look anywhere else, Maria has not only become my little boys childminder but also a good friend and my parenting guru!! Thank you for everything Maria!!

Maria has cared for my son since he was a baby and he is now 10 years old. He refers to her as his second mum. I am dreading the day he is big enough to look after himself! My daughter also grew up in Maria's care and I've had the experience of full time care and after school, both outstanding.
The home environment is amazing with a playroom lots of resources and the most amazing outdoor adventure playground. Maria has been a source of excellent advice and support on many issues and you could not ask for more from a childminder. Both of my children used to actually cry to go to her house which is a reflection on how much they enjoyed her attention and the environment she provides. I consider myself extremely lucky to have Maria as my childminder.

Maria is an outstanding childminder who is perfect in her role- the children all love her and she enjoys her job- this is obvious as soon as you go into the house. In particular, my son misses Maria when he doesn't go there...
If you want a friendly, nurturing environment, a caring minder, excellent communication and someone who isn't phased by anything childminding can throw at her, then Maria is the one for you!
I cannot recommend her highly enough.
I consider myself very lucky to have her caring for my son and can see how much he has developed into a confident, happy little boy under her care.

Where do I start! My little boy was 8 months old when he started going to Maria's. I knew as soon as I met Maria (and her mam, Cath who is Maria's assistant after years of being a childminder herself) that it was the perfect person to look after my baby. Maria's house is equipped with so many learning materials, interactive and sensory toys and a huge garden with lots of activities to stimulate their little minds. Elijah loves going to see Maria and his little friends and always has stories to tell me and creative artwork to show me. His social skills are fantastic as well as his communications skills and his general development which I credit Maria playing
a large role in. The children are fed healthy meals and do physical activity through play and outdoor visits to the parks and museums. I've chosen to leave Elijah in Maria's childcare rather than send him to school nursery as her passion and care she gives to the children is amazing and he's very happy there. I would thoroughly recommend Maria, she is completely trustworthy, caring and a genuinely lovely person.
