My little one attended Larkfield from 1 until almost 3 (we moved country). Jenny, Lyn, Maya and the girls are kind, nurturing, fun, spontaneous and loving. Their environment really is a home from home. The mix of ages is a real benefit, the children are very sweet. They are stimulating and do really fun things. I loved that they would decide on what the day held based on the children's moods/weather/ children's suggestions or memories/activities on offer in the city. They are intuitive and child focused. Food was very varied and tasty. I always picked up tips. My little one was a very happy child at Larkfield ?

Jenny and her team have been great right from the start.
I needed one day a week for my son and he struggled to settle initially but they were very honest and open about his progress. They went the extra mile to care for him and made sure he was happy and that I was happy with him being there.
I would definitely recommend jenny and her team and will hopefully be using them again and will recommend them to all my friends!

A loving, caring and stimulating environment, Larkfield has gone over and above what we expected from a childminder. Our daughter has been so happy here and been completely nurtured, as well as learning many things, from positive social interaction to healthy eating, numeracy and literacy and much more. Children have a mix of staying in the well set up house and going out to playgroups, museums etc and we felt that this was really important.

My son has been going to this childminder's for almost 6 months now, and he absolutely loves it there. I have only positive feedback with regards his childcare, and find all the childminders to be really caring, easy going and happy people. I hope to keep my son here until he starts school.

My little boy has attended Jenny's from aged 9 months and he is now 4.5. He didn't settle well at nursery and found the noise and changing faces difficult so we looked for a child minder instead. Jenny provides a lovely balance of being small enough that there is a real family feel with familiar faces and good continuity of care but big enough to provide plenty of play mates, social activities and day trips.
He really enjoys going to Jenny's to play with his friends and asks me each morning if it is a Jenny day today!

I moved my 4 year old into Jenny's care last April. He has a slight speech delay and was getting lost in the nursery he was in, so I decided a smaller setting would be better. I couldn't praise jenny and her team enough. He is so cared for and looked after. He goes on numerous trips each week to farms, soft play, museums, parks (at no extra cost to me) and his speech and confidence around other kids has just come on so much. Jenny has been great at coordinating with the speech and language therapist. He enjoys himself so much that we felt guilty leaving our two year old in nursery so we moved her a few months ago to Jenny's and she loves it just as much as him.

Our two-year old has been going to Jenny's for the last 8 months now, and she's very happy there. (We know this because she tells us - a LOT!!)
Jenny's relaxed and understanding approach really helped to set our minds at ease when our daughter first started going to her (we were very nervous about leaving our little one with a non-family member for the first time).
When I pick my toddler up from her "Jenny days" now, she's always happy, bouncy, and full of news about what she's been doing all day long. She will normally have been on some kind of outing, and will often be wearing glitter or paint in her hair or clothes, from whatever arts and crafts activity she's been enjoying that afternoon!
My partner and I feel really lucky to have found a placement for our daughter where we know that she's happy and well cared-for, and where we feel confident that she's having a great time when she's away from us.

Jenny (and Megan) provides the best environment for my daughter, that I could possibly hope for. She gets lots of individual care and attention & lots of encouragement to join in with the bigger children, and to play, explore and learn.
The children have a better cultural life than most adults- visiting galleries, museums, farms etc- plus lots of outside time in the park and just out in the buggy.
They do arts and crafty-type stuff too which is lovely, even though my daughter is the littlest and doesn't really understand the concept!
The service is flexible, friendly and feels safe, comfortable and like the proverbial 'home from home'. My daughter has settled so quickly and that seems to be down to Jenny and Megan's approach.
I would recommend Larkfield Daycare to anyone.

Jen provides an excellent childminding service for our toddler.
She has a fun and varied schedule tailored to his individual needs, including lots of creative play and activities stimulating development and encouraging social interaction.
We are provided with a daily update of his activities and mealtimes which I find extremely helpful.
Jen's house is a great size for the children and the large garden gives ample opportunity for outdoor activities.
I would highly recommend Jen's fun and caring childminder service.
