Claire built a strong bond with our two daughters.

Claire was employed by myself and my husband from 2015 until the end of her maternity leave in 2018. She looked after our then 4-year-old and 1-year-old daughters until they were 6 and 3.

Claire stood out immediately when we first met her, for her gentle manner and good humour. We were also very impressed by how observant of our children she was. Our youngest daughter has special needs and delayed development. Claire immediately made observations about the things that our daughter was doing, that more experienced nannies failed to. She was naturally very sensitive to the children's needs.

Claire was extremely conscientious about her duties caring for the girls and always had lots of activities planned both at home and out and about. She developed a close relationship with both of them.

She also dealt with juggling the very different needs of Martha with her elder sister and worked hard to help them to interact with one another.

She was great to have around, and fitted into the household straight away. Since she left our employment she has done some ad-hoc babysitting for us, bringing along her son. She coped well with balancing the needs of all three children.
