The best nanny I’ve had so far!

Genka joined us as a live in nanny in January for 5 months - when my daughter turned 11 months and started nursery.
Not only she’s a very kind and caring person - for my little girl, which she undeniably loved dearly - but also for us. She’d always be supportive, have a kind word and try to help, in particular when I was over tired with work or injured myself. She’d always remember occasions, from birthdays to Mother’s Day and would have a nice gesture, which shows how much she cares again.
She’s also a very discreet and respectful of our personal choices but also choices of education and different culture, which she always approached with an open minded.

Regarding childcare, she’s everything a new parent would want for their baby. Genka is indeed very knowledgeable and pragmatic - she adapted straight away to the fact my baby girl wouldn’t nap by taking a step backwards and getting her to sleep in the pram to start with, then in her arms and eventually in her pram. Her calm nature really helped her deal with these difficult moments when Noor was horribly teething or would throw a tantrum.
She would also encourage her development as much as she could. Really we were very lucky to have her.
She developed such a bond with Noor that one of her 10 first words ever happened to be Genka (actually Gekka 😂) and she’d wave goodbye to her every evening, sometimes even with a short cry when Genka would disappear.

I cannot recommend her enough to anyone with a baby and really hope her next family will treat her well.

Your last stop with the perfect nanny

Genka stayed with us over a year, as a single mother with no family in the UK to help I had gone through many nannies and with my high standards I usually had to let them go soon after.

We finally met Genka when my son was just turning 2, She quickly became a part of our family.
A second grandmother to my son. Genka presence in my home felt so easy, she adjusted quickly, was kind, honest, tidy, reliable (Never had a sick day), valued my privacy and gave me the perfect amount of space.

She took care of my son 5 days a week and when needed she took care of him for longer when i had to go abroad for work. She didn’t treat this like a job, her top priority was my son’s well being and to make my life easier. I never had any worries when my son was in her hands. She succeeded on every level, when my son was waking up at night or too early in the morning, she would adjust his routine to help us both get good sleep. She knew how important routine was to me and followed all my ideas of how i liked things to be done, every day went smoothly. She taught my son to be polite, table manners and encouraged him to be independent.

Genka is kind , loving and gentle but in charge with my son, she is attentive with eyes on my son at all times and did not spend time on her phone. She enjoyed bonding, chatting, singing and creating new activities for my son to try.

My son is a fussy eater and my past nannies struggled to feed him. However, Genka never gave up trying different ways to help his feeding, she cared about him getting good nutrition and succeeded. He is now on a well-balanced diet with lots of vegetables, fruit and he has finally put on some weight.

She is family oriented, her communication skills were excellent and emotionally healthy,
at every discussion I always felt supported and listened to.

I am sad that we no longer need full time care and already know we will miss her deeply she was always there for me and my son through good and hard times and she will be a part of our family forever
