No show nanny

I never got the chance to actually meet Sandra or see how she is with kids. For a very simple reason. She has canceled our initial meeting twice. Both times just a few hours before the scheduled meeting. When I mentioned to her that I might write a review, her reply was that she can see that we are not the kind of family she would like to work with. From a nanny I would expect a little more respect towards a potential employer and to be a little more humble.

Also, if she can not manage her time efficiently to be there for an interview twice (!) how could I trust her with my child?

Also, it was clear from our conversations that she did not pay attention to details as I have given her my address for the first scheduled visit and she had to ask again when we agreed to try to meet again. It was just a few lines up in the conversation.

I understand that this is not a major thing, but when I look for a nanny I would like them to pay attention to details and actually show up for an interview. She failed both.

I apologised several times for the inconvenience of cancelling, the lady was very rude and i was threatened with a bad review i can provide many excellent reviews for my previous jobs and have been lucky enough to meet some wonderful people, however as with every profession we can't please everyone,..
It's a shame we can't leave reviews for prospective employers too... manners cost nothing.
