My son has been going to yumbo since February (he turned 3 in May), I was so nervous at first but he settled in perfect and he absoloutley loves it there! They go out every day and parents are given a diary and kept up to date of what their child/ren have been up to which is really nice to read. The staff are brilliant and have helped my son come a long way in the space of 4 months, he now uses the toilet , his bottle is in the bin (had major issues for a long time getting rid of it!) His speech is coming along really well too. I'm so happy I chose yumbo for his childcare and he will continue going there until school. I also have another child on the way who will no doubt go to yumbo in the future too. Thanks Corrine and all staff for all you do xxxx

Corrine and the team have been looking after my daughter, now 20 months, for 2 days a week since September 2014. Willow loves going to the setting and I know she is looked after brilliantly.
When I was first due to start back at work I found it very daunting and quite scary thinking about finding child care and leaving my daughter with a child minder. Corrine immediately put me at ease and made everything straight forward. We had a couple of meetings before Willow started, one a home visit then another at the setting.
Willow has got on fantastically well and I was put at ease straight away. She has made friends her own age. The children go on lots of interesting and fun trips, for example they went to a jam factory, they've been to the woods, to Tropical Wings, to a farm. Willow has great fun and the activities they do are really good learning experiences too. Corrine keeps the activities relevant to what is happening, for instance the children did a project on Chinese New Year.
Willow is always bringing home lovely craft activities she has made at the setting which we display proudly on our fridge at home. She has a home diary which we both update, so that I get to know what she has been doing at the setting and I can let Corrine know how Willow has been at home.
I am 100% confident that Willow is,getting the very best of care at the setting and have no hesitation in recommending Yumbo child care to anyone.

I began to search for childminders in Chelmsford at the end of 2013 when my family and I were preparing to relocate to Essex from Leicestershire. I used this site to search for childminders near to the house that we were purchasing and Yumbo Childcare was on the list. My daughter was 18 months old and had been attending a childminding setting for six months in Leicestershire and I was keen for her to continue to attend this type of setting. I contacted Corrine and arranged to meet with her and took my daughter along with me for the visit. My daughter made herself at home during this short visit to Corrine's home and it was clear from just being in the setting that Corrine and her team offer a fantastic, well-planned variety of activities for the children in their care. We signed our daughter up without hesitation and she began attending the setting at the end of January 2014. My daughter has now been attending the setting for two days a week since January and has clearly benefitted from her time with Corrine and her dedicated team. She has experienced so much since joining the setting as the team plan a variety of home-based activities alongside a multitude of trips to various educational venues in and around Essex - farms, zoos, museums, local play groups, local leisure centres, parks, woods, jam factory, strawberry picking and even waved her flag at the queen when she made a recent visit to Chelmsford! I can honestly say that my daughter has a better knowledge of what Essex has to offer than both me and my husband put together!
Corrine and her team have been keeping a journal which records exactly what activities the group have been doing and this journal has lots of photos which show my daughter having a fantastic time and interacting well with her peers. Corrine is so well travelled and ensures that the different cultures of the children in her care are respected and that different religious festivals are covered as part of the planned activities that the group partake in. She has food tasting sessions to give the group new culinary experiences and works hard to broaden the children's' knowledge about different parts of the world.
I cannot recommend this setting highly enough and feel blessed that I used this site to look up local childminders in Chelmsford and found Yumbo Childcare which is just five minutes away from our new home.
An excellent team providing an outstanding service - my daughter will always remember her time at Yumbo Childcare.

My 2 year old has been going to Yumbo childcare for around 8 months now and I will keep him there until he goes to school. He has come along such a long way with his speech, manners and behaviour since attending and Corinne has ensured potty training has been consistently maintained at the setting which has made my life a lot easier at home. Harry is very happy here and I know if I have any more, they will also attend Yumbo childcare. The staff are fantastic and I can go to work 3 days a week knowing Harry is in the very best of hands.

My daughter has been looked after by Corrie and her team for nearly a year now. I had just moved to Chelmsford, and didn't know anyone, or hadn't yet found my feet. I needed to find a childminder quite quickly, and stumbled apon Yumbo childcare. It has worked out to be one of my best finds!!!
Corrine and everyone at Yumbo have been so friendly and welcoming. My daughter loves her time at Yumbo, and gets quite disappointed during school holidays, because she misses all her friends and staff!!!
Corrine and her team have worked alongside me, and my daughter is turning into a very independent, inquisitive, and generally good mannered young lady. They never stay indoors, are out somewhere everyday (making me quite jealous that she has a better social life than me!)! I couldn't recommend Yumbo enough, and will be giving out Corrine's number to anyone I know that needs childcare. Definitely 5 star service!'

My Daughter has been going to Corrine and her team for a year and it is lovely to see how much she has grown in confidence in that time. She took a long time to settle but Corrine and I worked together and we got there in the end.
The Children are very lucky, they are taken out every day somewhere different, they attend several playgroups, go to parks, museums, the zoo, swimming, messy play, the seaside and much more. In the setting the children enjoy art and craft, baking, music and drawing.
Every day is structured which has helped me introduce a similar routine at home. Corrine and her team are happy to help with any issue’s you might have and are very supportive.
My Son is picked up from school by Corrine and he really enjoys the activities. They are not left in front of a TV and I often get told off if I arrive too early.
My Son also goes to Corrine during school holidays and always enjoys the trips that are provided. Corrine and her team go out of their way to plan these school holiday weeks to ensure the children are happy and they enjoy themselves.
The Children have recently enjoyed a Halloween party where they all dressed up and played lovely games and had a buffet tea, the house was decorated for the children and it looked wonderful.
Christmas is looming now and my daughter is going to 4 Christmas parties, that’s more than me!
I would highly recommend Corrine and her wonderful team to anyone. My Children love them.

Our son joined Yumbo Childcare when he was 10months old as the youngest at that time. He has made a tremendous progress over the last six months and we feel that Yumbo Childcare contributed to it. At the beginning he was as we would expect from a child at this stage. Once settled in he feels like home and he loves going to Corrine's place. This is a very warm and welcoming household.
He had opportunities to experience activities such as strawberry picking, messy plays, swimming, pupet shows etc. They spend a lot of time outdoor as there is a big garden and lots of toys.
We have a lot of support from Corrine and her staff. Yumbo Childcare is a great place for children and we would recommend it as it was recommended to us few months ago.

We needed a childminder at short notice for a temporary period and contacted Corrine at Yumbo Childcare. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our choice.
Our daughter was six months old and had never been left with anyone else apart from us, her parents. Corrine instantly reassured us. She was very professional, flexible, friendly and supportive and our daughter instantly settled with Corrine and her assistants.
It was clear our daughter loved being at Corrine’s and enjoyed the various activities and trips that were arranged. We felt that our daughter was in a safe, trusted and caring environment and we would highly recommend Corrine and her team to anyone looking for childcare.

I needed a childminder for a short period of time (2 months) as I was working from home 1 day a week, and needed to be able to work without looking after my son. I did a lot of research and was happy to find Corrine. I felt confident leaving my son with Corrine after our first visit. Corrine's setting is family home based and very personal. In the beginning, Corrine would send me text messages to let me know how my son was getting on. This was reassuring, knowing he was doing well. My son enjoying his time with Corrine and her assistants. He loved the play groups they went to. I was given lovely photo's of my son playing very happily with a big smile on his face. Corrine was flexible with days where she had availability. On our last visit, my son was given a gift, which was a lovely gesture. A big thank you to Corrine and her assistants for looking after my son.

Overall
Our three old son thoroughly enjoyed his time with Corrine. He was going out on outdoor trips regularly which kept him very busy and stimulated. Our son made a number of friends. The atmosphere is friendly and stimulating for children of his age.
