Rene has been looking after my daughter when I had to go back to work when she was only 4.5months. She has been a second mum to her and I knew I could always count on her. So that's naturally that when my second one turned 6months, he started to go to Chez Mama Bear alongside his sister. And they actually go back once or twice a year since they like it so much! (We had to change and get them to nursery since we moved a bit further in 2021)
Rene is caring, very clever, and has lots of imagination for activities knowing how to make children happy!
Chez Mama Bear is the perfect fit for babies and toddlers, up to preschool age.
To top it up, Rene loves to cook and her menus are always so appealing, varied and very healthy.
Her new premises are also stunning!
I couldn't recommend anyone else more than Rene and her amazing team at Chez Mama Bear to look after little ones.

Our son Jude attended Chez Mama Bear from 9 months old. Choosing Rene to be our childminder was the best decision we made for our son's first experience away from home. Jude would smile as soon as Rene opened the door and we were kept up to date with photos via the app and could see that his smile continued throughout the day. Rene is caring, engaging and hands on. Jude would come home happy and exhausted (he always slept brilliantly!) as his day had been filled with fantastic activities and delicious meals.
We are so sad to leave Rene and Chez Mama Bear as we are moving to Australia - we are so grateful for everything Rene and the team has done and will miss sending Jude each week!

Our son has attended Chez Mama Bear from when he was 6 months old and it was the best childcare choice we could have made. The dedication poured into each child truly shows!
Rene was accommodating from the start, giving me a peace of mind during the day. I could always drop a message asking how his day was and there would be a reply with a picture waiting for me- this also meant we never missed a milestone! I never felt as if I couldn’t ask something, communication with Rene was always easy and comfortable!
Over the years we have accumulated lots of art and crafts made by our son, and we can look back and see his progress and creativity. Rene really encourages individuality; celebrating lots of national days and with a wide range of lunches from different cuisines offered throughout the month.
We were so lucky to find Chez Mama Bear, and cannot recommend it enough!

My daughter has been attending Rene's provision from the age of 11 months.
Rene has been incredibly supportive and caring from the very beginning.
For my daughter, it was the first time away from me and Rene has shown incredible dedication in ensuring she would adapt quickly and would feel at home.
Chez mama Bear is really a home away from home and I recommend it highly to any parents seeking for a calm and comforting environment where children can grow and thrive with the support of splendid care and the interaction of other children.

I am so glad I found Rene to look after my daughter. Rene has been childminding my daughter since she was one year old for roughly 3 years, 3 days a week.
I have been extremely happy with the care my daughter has received; Rene has always been caring, able to understand my daughter’s needs whatever they may be and puts her at ease in any circumstance. Not only has she been supportive towards the children but also is equally supporting with parents, giving advice when I needed and being consistently available to help should I have any concerns.
I have been very satisfied with the great progress my daughter has made whilst in Rene’s care, especially over the last year, learning letters and numbers in preparation for Reception. Further to this she provides many different fun activities like arts and crafts, drawing and sticking, painting, reading as well as outdoors activities. During the summer period the children can also enjoy a paddling pool in the garden which is an excellent addition.
Rene always provides the children with freshly cooked healthy meals and snacks and at the beginning of each month she provides the parents with the monthly menu. This is so helpful in not only seeing what the plan for each day is but it allows the parent to then plan further meals to keep a good variety.
During the day Rene has always been available to be reached over the phone and she kept me informed about my daughter’s day with texts and pictures which is a reassuring and enjoyable aspect of each day. It also means that questions regarding my daughters day were never left a long time and you feel involved with the day whilst not being around.
All in all I am thoroughly happy with the level of care my daughter received and I would absolutely recommend Rene as a great and reliable childminder.

Rene was fantastic and combined wonderful level of care in supportive environment. Our little daughter has been going to her since sge was 6months and thrived under care while learning to socialise with other babies. We can recommend her highly enough.
