Isn’t a reliable babysitter. I booked her when I first moved to Hamilton last year as I had a few things booked and my family doesn’t have any support down here. She didn’t bother turning up. I didn’t get a text or call to say why. I ended up deleting my childcare account. I made another at some point this year at a last attempt for a break with my partner and Lisa contacted me about her babysitting services. We organised a date for her to babysit and it went well. My boys seemed to enjoy their time with her. So I booked her again for my birthday two months in advance. Due to her unreliability before I asked multiple times through these two months if she was still coming. I had tickets bought for a show that was bought last year. Told her multiple times what my plans were felt like I kept repeating myself she had no idea the week prior what times she was coming. She also asked if she could bring her daughter because she couldn’t get childcare which I thought would of been fine and not interfere with her babysitting. I was pretty much desperate. Just as we arrived at our venue she tells us we have to come home because there has been an accident at the park. Her daughter had been hit by a swing. My sons bedtime is 6pm this was 6:30pm. I did tell her this night that was no pressure to get him down. However it was because I thought she was going to struggle with her daughter being there and I was trying to be nice. They shouldn’t have been at the park still at this time. I don’t drive and I was far away from the house. She sounded angry on the phone when I said I couldn’t come straight away. Told me her partner was meeting her at the hospital and she was gonna take my boys home and wait until we were finished. I had to double check what she meant here. Seemed like my two eldest boys did the most work with my little one. She still charged me for tonight which was a bit of a joke to be honest. Paying someone to mother their own child and to sit on a train. Her kid shouldn’t have been at work with her to begin with. There was two months notice. If she couldn’t do this then she should of gave me plenty notice to find someone else. She at least shouldn’t have charged us for the night. My three year old who was in the swing in the time came home not looking like his normal self. He seemed a bit in shock. He also thought this was his fault. Not once had she told him it wasn’t his fault or comforted him in anyway. After messaging her telling her that although it’s terrible her daughter got hurt she was unprofessional on all levels and I’m not happy with how my family has been treated. She decided to ignore this and block me from her babysitting group so I can’t leave a review. When confronted upon this she is going to great extremes to make sure her response isn’t recorded in anyway. Which is just shady behaviour from the word go. She won’t be getting booked again. The whole process from start to finish was just shambles. I’ve had enough. Why is she treating us like we have done something wrong?!!! Avoid!

I've contacted Lisa to ask if she is able to look after my 3 children including a newborn baby. we met at first and I was sure my children would be in good hands for this couple of hours. Lisa is a very kind, communicative person with positive energy around her. she is also very dedicated to work, she took care of my little one and handled the situation in a very professional way. I would definitely recommend her to anyone to look after the children. :) :)

Lisa is an excellent babysitter. She came to my home on a Saturday evening because I had a night out and cared for my 4 year old daughter. Showed me her certificates and qualifications. Was very attentive with my daughter. Looked after her well all evening, got her to bed and kept in touch with me. She even folded my washing! Really lovely lady and I will be having her over again!

my husband booked lisa through thisservice as we were both working i very nervous about a stranger coming to look after the kids esp my youngest at 2 who has additional needs she also doesn`t like being away from me. lisa came to our house showed me all her qaulifications and that she worked in a nursery. i was kept upto date through out the night . i have no issue with lisa i have used her loads of times the kids they absolutley love lisa esp my 2yr old who keeps shouting on her i have no issues in using lisa and would highly recomend her
