Best Nanny/person

C. is a very kind hearted person who took care of my 15 months old son like her own. She loved to play with him and he did too. She would arrange various activities for him and teach him lots of rhymes. He really loves playing with her too.

Unwavering support

We have known Brenda-Claire for 5 years. She helped look after 4 of our children, 2 whom are autistic. She is reliable, flexible, and practical. She has genuine warmth and commitment, combined with a friendly demeanor. She is very energetic and always finding things to do with the kids. We are relocating, so we'll miss her. She has become like family to us.

Amazing Nanny! My kids and I tare love her! So punctual, honest and very kind. I’m so glad she looked after my kids. She saved my life even on last minutes, when I had to go to work. Will highly recommend her. 😍

AMAZING CHILDCARE PROFESSIONAL

I am writing to recommend Claire as a nanny or childminder. Claire was our first ever childminder for our daughter and son when our daughter was barely 5 months old and our son was 5 years at the time.

Being full time parents leaving a young baby at home was quite daunting as you can imagine but the love and support Claire gave to us during that time made it easy for us to work , knowing that our children were in good hands. She was responsible for providing them with breakfast each day and dropping my son and picking him up from school. While caring for them she was respectful about our family traditions and most times will adapt my son's lunch to a dish he was used to having at home.

Claire is very knowledgeable about the statutory Early Years Provisions and adapts her practice to the needs of every child she cares for. Claire is a tremendously patient person who works alongside the parents, which was helpful to us as our boisterous son struggled with following instructions at the time.

She took the time needed to read with or hear my son read every day and assisted him with homework which made our time with our kids in the evening more enjoyable for other family activities.

Claire had an immeasurable positive impact in my family as at that time , my husband and I had no family support network around us in London and she acted more like a Nan to our kids, which made our children to see her as family rather than a childminder.
I desperately wanted my baby at the time to partake in certain baby -friendly activities which were never available during the weekends but Brenda tried her best to ensure my daughter didn't miss out. From 6 months old she took our baby to mother-and-child swimming classes, which helped build water confidence for our daughter who now thoroughly enjoys swimming.

Claire is very attentive and meticulous to detail. I saw that in the “home contact” book she designed and self- introduced to keep my husband and I updated with things. As her child minding practice expanded, she employed an assistant and changed the “home contact” book to an online system which gave us access via our mobile phones or a desktop with pictures of our kids.

As a family, we've learnt extremely well from Claire's supportive and professional practice and some of the activities she did with our kids, like her famous summer farm trips and seaside trips have now become a tradition for our kids. As our daughter grew older (almost 2 years old) I changed jobs and had a longer commute to work so i decided to change my son's school as well. We decided to move the baby as well to a nursery closer to work as unfortunately it was impossible to leave her with Claire as we travelled to work quite early.

Once again I would very much recommended Claire to anyone looking for a qualified quality (Early Years professional) nanny or Minder for their family. She is caring, very supportive, uses her initiative and loves working with children.

Part of the family

Claire looked after 3 of my children over a 3 year period. She was a childminder to our 2 boys before we employed her as our Nanny from 2015-2016. Claire was always so professional in her conduct - she gave very thorough feedback on the day and would endeavour to give our children a variety of learning opportunities and experiences in a variety of settings. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience in childcare from bringing up her own children, as well the continuing professional development she has undertaken. Claire has so many positive attributes- she is reliable, punctual, hard working and empathetic. She has a lot of patience which was invaluable when caring for one of our children,who has social communication difficulties. I never worried about the children in Claire's care, which enabled me to fully focus on work. She was a real asset to our family and we all miss her.

Wonderful childcare professional

My son had been attending Claire’s child-minding settings for over two years, and it was fantastic environment for him to grow and learn. I can highly recommend Claire as a childcare provision prefessional. She not only has the thorough knowledge about Early Years development, but also the loving and caring attitude towards children. She always took into consideration my son’s likes and dislikes, be it toys, food, or habits and character traits, and worked around them to bring the best out of him. When he started talking, Claire helped him with the letters he struggled with. The days were organised, the reports were detailed. I knew what they did, what he ate, even how many time he used the toilet. It all helped me immensely to be relaxed returning to work, knowing not only he is well looked after, but also in the environment that benefits him so much. They regularly took the trips to the local children’s centres, libraries and parks, as well as the city farms, museums and other places of interest to children. They have been to the seaside and done fruit picking in the summer. I shall remember the years at Little Swallow’s childminder settings fondly, and so glad that I have so many pictures left as memories from it!
