Karen Looked after my 1 year old son for 2 days a week and I felt very satisfied that he was in a safe, happy and stimulating environment. After the initial settling in period my son would look forward to going to Karen's which made me feel much easier about leaving him. She would take him to a group so he could socialise with children of a similar age. She is very good at gaging the needs of the individual child and attending to them.
As I am self employed I often needed extra adhoc hours and Karen was very accommodating to my childcare needs. She always managed to fit us in for extra days when I need them.
Karen does a daily journal for each child so the parents can see what the child has been up to. It always contains pictures of what they've been doing. I really enjoyed reading it after each session.
I would not hesitate to recommend Karen as a childminder.

Overall
Karen looked after our baby girl from when she was 6 months old for two days a week. Our little one loved the time spent with Karen which was always full of playing and learning. Karen's daily diary gave us detailed descriptions and photos of the activities undertaken and key milestones in our little ones progress.
Karen works with other childminders and has a great support network in place to cover holidays or sickness. We found Karen to be very flexible and reliable and have no hesitation in recommending her.
Our daughter also adored Karen's two children who are an absolute credit to her. We recently moved and I was lucky enough to reduce my working week otherwise our daughter would still be with Karen. If circumstances change in the future we would have no hesitation in contacting Karen again.

Overall
Karen has cared for my son for the past year and he is always very happy in her company. The daily diary we are given with pictures of our little monkey having fun is fantastic and really reassuring that he is not only busy but very content while we are working. I am always amazed by how much they get up to in just 4 hours a day.
Karen is very reliable and has a close network of friends who are also childminders. They have a wonderful arrangement where they help cover for each other in cases of sickness or other unplanned absence which provides excellent levels of continuity for working parents.
I can only recommend Karen to the highest level. A really warm, friendly, reliable childminder.

Overall
Karen is a fantastic childminder and has looked after our daughter for nearly 4 years since she was 9 months old. She provides a wonderful home from home setting, is a genuine, reliable and caring childminder who blends fun days out, activities and learning to support pre-school years.
She provides a wonderful daily diary with photographs of all of the things that they have been up to in the day and as a full time working mum, I love reading it everyday, knowing that our little girl has been having lots of fun and is well cared for in a loving family environment. It's like being part of the family!!
Karen is highly recommended.
