Fantastic childminder

Dawn is a great childminder and we have really appreciated the care and affection she has shown to our child. We are sad that our contract is coming to an end and we are only leaving her setting as we are going to work abroad, so we wanted to provide a review that would give prospective parents a sense of her qualities.

Dawn has always been very warm, welcoming and playful with our child throughout his time with her and he is always really happy to see her. She has provided a great range of activities which she has tailored to support our child's learning and development, for example by providing lots of opportunities for outdoor play when he was learning to walk. In addition to activities at home, she has also taken him beyond her setting, including walks to the shops; trips to the library to take out books; visits to playgroups, and play dates at the playground with other childminders and the children in their care.

As we are first-time parents, working with a childminder to provide care for our child has been a big step, and Dawn helped us with this transition and followed a regular routine with our child so that he knows what to expect from the day; however she has also allowed flexibility to accommodate our child’s needs.

She has been great at managing interactions between all the children in her care. She encouraged the older children in the group to interact with our toddler and invited them to help him to choose toys or to show him how a toy worked, and as a result he really enjoyed playing with them and they were interested in him.

We have always found Dawn to be responsive to feedback about her placement, and whenever our child has been ill or out of sorts Dawn has shown genuine concern and has alerted us to any changes in mood. She is very organised and she has always got back to emails and texts promptly, as well as being very reliable and clear in how she manages the setting, contracts and payments.

We are very grateful to Dawn for the care and support she has shown to our child; he has really thrived with her and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a childminder.

Massive thank you

Dawn, I would like to take this opportunity to say a very massive thank you for all your support over this year with my girls. You have had such an impact and influence over them that I know they will always think of you fondly.
If it wasn't for our moving outside of London the girls would have stayed with you all the way through until secondary school.
You consider the needs of the children, and not the amount of how many children you can have, which was one of the qualities I liked about your setting as well as how clean your home always was.
You are a lovely lady with a heart full of gold and a smile to die for....

Absolutely Fab...

Our child was cared for in the morning (before school) and in the evening (after school) by Dawn. My wife and I found the service provided by Dawn to be of very good quality. Dawn is very organised, professional and well mannered. Dawn ensured our child was on time for school in the morning. Dawn provided very good care, in fun and safe environment (none smoking - a big plus for us). Dawn was also attentive to the child well being and raised concerns to us when the child behaviour changed unexpectedly. We would recommend Dawn to our friends.

To show our appreciation

My contract has come to an end and we will be sad to leave. So I decided to leave a review to show our appreciation for all her hard work. Dawn @ B2B takes the children out to do different fun activities, playgrounds, toddler groups, libraries, parks, etc. She liaises with the teachers to find out what the children have been doing or to pass on messages on behalf of the parents etc. which is a comfort.
The children draw, paint and play a lot. Dawn is a lovely warm person who sees the best in everyone. She is easy to talk to and very understanding but most of all very reliable.
Her home is always clean not sure how she keeps it so with so many activities – but I rate that!
I worked in Broadcasting a very demanding job so for me it was wonderful to know that my daughter was in the very best care while I was at work. My daughter took to Dawn and her setting very well. We will miss her a great deal.
