Very highly recommended

Sue has been my childminder for the past six years, looking after both my son and daughter. She is absolutely brilliant and both my children love her to pieces. With not having family living close by, she feels very much like part of our extended family.

Sue has never once let us down and has always been totally reliable. She has a fantastic way with the children and whole-heartedly encourages their interests, emotional development and progression. She has been hugely supportive, especially so with my daughter's recent health issues.

If you are looking for a dedicated, committed childminder in this area you can not go wrong with Sue. I am more than happy to provide her with a reference if you would like one.

From experience it can be so daunting thinking about returning to work and leaving your child, but Sue is totally reassuring as one mum to another, and I can think of no-one better to leave my children in the care of.

Couldn't have been happier

Sue was our daughter's childminder from May 2008 (aged 6 months) until August 2011. She was recommended to us by a friend whose daughter was under Sue’s care at the time.

Having been very nervous about leaving our daughter with a comparative stranger at such a young age, we were immediately put at ease by Sue’s friendly demeanour and skill with children. Our daughter obviously enjoyed going to Sue’s, even at that young age, and in no time at all was settled firmly into the routine there.

Ever since then, our daughter continued to enjoy staying with Sue, who obviously forms a close bond with all the children in her care and as such they all get along very well and enjoy spending their time with her. She also proved invaluable to us as parents with her advice and knowledge – our daughter has turned out incredibly well-adjusted with a cheery persona, and this is down in no small measure to the care she has received from Sue.

As a result of the wonderful care our daughter received, we have no hesitation in recommending parents place their child under Sue’s care in future, and we know she will always remember Sue for all the good times she had in her formative years!
