Katie acted as an occasional nanny/ babysitter for our son, 21 months, and more recently came to us once weekly to provide 'after school hours' nannying services.
Katie's high level of organisation always struck me. She is impressive in keeping on top of her busy schedule. She was always punctual, and never forgot dates or times.
Katie is also responsible, and unflappable in a crisis. She responds well to changes in plan, identifies what is necessary to be done, and gets on with it!
Our son got along with her very well, and really enjoyed his time with her. We hope that he will be able to spend more time with her in the future.

Overall
Katie has done occasional babysitting and after school care during for our four girls who are 8, 6, 4 and 4. She is always calm and instantly built a really nice rapport with our girls. She does nice art and craft activities with them. She has collected our girls from school, played with them and then prepared their supper. Looking after four young girls isn't easy but she has taken this in her stride. Our girls were always keen to see her and the house always clam when we returned. She is very responsible and we would highly recommend her.

Overall
After meeting Katie a few weeks ago, I left my two sons (6 and 9) with her for a couple of hours while I got some Christmas shopping done.
My youngest is quite shy and takes a long time to warm to people but spoke to Katie the second she came through the front door! Katie was almost immediately invited up to the boy's bedroom (inventing laboratory). She certainly seems to have the "knack"!
She seems to have a very nice nature, she's also patient and fairly laid back (a very important quality for spending time at our house!) She even did the washing up!
The children gave their approval to me after she had left, and I'm really pleased that I've found someone local to call on when I need some help/time off!
I look forward to seeing her again soon.

Overall
Katie babysits for us in the evenings and my son absolutely adores her. He is only 1 year old but her name is in his vocabulary!! She just comes in and immediately Sam is happy sitting reading stories and playing games with her. Not even a glance from him when we leave.
Highly recommended to anyone!
