Outstanding - part of the family

Cherie is outstanding. The themed months and ever changing toys and activities really engage all children. Our daughter loves going to Cherie's and she has developed and grown into a clever and kind little girl thanks to Cherie. No day is ever the same Cherie sends great updates as well as photos. We feel like we don't miss out on the painting or dressing up etc as we get lots of photos. The children do daily activites such as counting and learning colours to days of the week. Cherie is approachable and friendly and I honestly don't know what we would do without her. She is like part of our family and always makes us smile.

First Class Childcare

The level of childcare Cherie provides is exceptional! We are so happy with the service. My daughter has been with Cherie since she was 9 months old and we plan to send our baby boy to Cherie’s when I return to work.
Cherie puts so much time and effort into the planning of the activities for the children, she is so creative and inspiring. Not one day is the same at Little Inks. The activities are wide ranging and she does an incredible amount of arts and crafts with the children, my daughter comes home with daily artwork and has learnt to paint, draw, bake and use scissors. Cherie also regularly takes the children out on day trips, local walks and park visits. She also focuses on educational learning and development, my daughter has learnt so much in Cherie’s care, I’m so pleased with this aspect. We receive daily updates and lots of photos from Cherie, which is lovely.
All the children at Little Inks form close, wonderful relationships with Cherie, my daughter absolutely adores her and talks about her all the time at home❤️
There is no one quite like Cherie, we are so lucky to have found such an amazing child minder, this is also reflected in her recently awarded Ofsted Outstanding grade ❤️

A home from home!

Cherie is an outstanding child minder. Our son has been incredibly happy there since he was 10 months old. Cherie puts in the most incredible effort with planning enriching activities for all the children and they learn whilst having the most fun. Couldn’t be happier with Little Inks!

AMAZING!

My Daughter has been going to L I C for almost 2 years now and she loves it! The things she knows like shapes, numbers and letters for her age is incredible! I highly recommend L I C

excellent 'top' child minder

cherie is an excellent child minder and would definitely have her again in the future. My little girl has learnt so much from being a member of crafty kids and she loved going there.All the children played happily together in a lovely environment and Cherie always does great activities with them.Such a friendly and lovely environment.

The BEST childminder EVER....

All three of my children, now 14, 8 and 4, went to CraftyKids. My eldest started at 6, my middle child was around 12mths and the youngest was only 6mths. They absolutely loved going and I'd have to bribe them with sweets in the evening to come home with me. If I arrived early, it was to them groaning that they had to leave. Cherie has been like a second mum to my children and is an amazing childminder, who always has the children's best interests at heart. She does loads of activities with them and helps them learn through play. She really knows how to keep those little minds entertained and is gently encouraging. My eldest stopped going at 11 and the younger two only left as I moved them to a school closer to home. I don't miss the 2mile walk home, but I definitely miss Cherie looking after my children. The youngest has a new childminder now and always asks if she can go back to Cherie's, because she misses her. If you're lucky enough to get a space at CraftyKids, snap it up...you won't regret it. She's 'The BEST childminder EVER and she is also my friend' (quoting my middle child). Thank you for taking such good care of my children; made going back to work so much easier, each time.

Amazing childcare

My daughter started with Cherie in September 2014, after my my previous childminder decided to give up childminding. My daughter was very apprehensive about changing childminders but Cherie made the swap very stress free. By Christmas my daughter had settled in. Cherie is an amazing childminder and I always know my daughter is in very safe hands. All of the children and parents are made to feel like part of her family. Cherie offers a wide range of activities before and after school. During the school holidays they do lots of different things each day. I couldn't ask for a better childminder for my daughter.

Fantastic

Cherie has been childminding for me for approximately 6 years and is absolutely amazing. My 7yr old son has recently been diagnosed with autism and Cherie has researched and spotted things with his condition that some other professionals haven't and has adapted her ways with him to make things easier for him. Cherie also looks after our little girl who is nearly 4yrs old and has done since she was approximately 4months old and she loves going to her house.
Cherie plans things in advance and certainly deserves her OFSTED Outstanding rating with the activities that she does with the children.
Cherie fully understand the Early Years Foundation stages and could not ask for any better person to look after our children.

Happy Kids!

My 2 children have been cared for by Crafty Kids for about 5 years. They are thought of as part of the family and are happy and comfortable being there; it is like a home from home! Cherie generally has them before school but also during some holidays and inset days and they do a fun range of activities; cooking and crafts, visits and water play. They also get some 'down time' to relax just as they would at home. I can go to work safe in the knowledge that my children are happy and safe. Cherie has a fantastic knowledge of the EYFS and makes learning opportunities fun for the children while she is caring for them.

Best Childminder, By Far

My son has been going to this childminder, full time, since he was approximately 17 months old. He is now nearly 3yrs old. Cherie is a very caring, understanding and trustworthy childminder and I would highly recommend her.
My son loves going to her and is always greeted with a very warm welcome and a friendly smile.
Cherie always has plenty of activities out for the children she minds. She encourages the children, age appropriate, to discover new skills and bring out the childs natural talents. They have story time and song/music time.
Cherie often takes the children out to the park or to playgroups to encourage the children to explore new sounds etc and mix with other children.
The snacks she provides the children are always healthy and varied - except on any of the childrens Birthdays, then it's party food time :-)
There is always a drink available (water) on the side for the children to help themselves to, or Cherie encourages the children to drink if they forget!
I would not entrust the care of my son with any other childminder - Cherie is truely the best childminder you could wish for for your child.
