Nads has been an absolute blessing for our family. From the moment we met her, both my daughters—who were initially very anxious about going to a childminder—felt completely at ease. Her gentle nature and warm personality created a safe space that helped them adjust quickly, which is no small feat given that one of them finds it very difficult to trust new people.
She’s consistently shown incredible patience and understanding, always tuning in to the individual needs of both children. From school pick-ups to mealtime, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The food she prepared was not only delicious but also introduced my girls to a variety of Asian dishes they absolutely loved. It was a beautiful cultural experience wrapped in home-cooked .
Above all, Nads is deeply nurturing and kind—everything you could hope for in a childminder. We’re so grateful to have found her, and I would recommend her wholeheartedly to any parent looking for someone truly special to care for their children.
Emily was a nanny for our son starting when he was 10 months old and stayed with us for 9 months. Joss very quickly warmed to Emily and would enjoy his days with her and was always happy to see her when she arrived. We found Emily to be completely confident and proactive and quickly trusted her to get on with meal preparation and planning their day together. She would take Joss to the library or pets at home on a rainy day, create tuff trays and fun activities at home including homemade play dough, they would have regular trips to the park and lots of stories and singing, as well as occasional swimming.
Emily noticed Joss’s interest in buses and so took him for a trip on the bus which he was thrilled with, she thought of special activities like making pizzas together around his birthday.
We always received lots of photos and updates throughout the day and felt that she always had Joss’s best interests in mind.
We would highly recommend Emily and would still be working with her if she hadn’t moved away from Bristol.

Our son has been going to Annette and Tony’s childcare for just over a year and a half now, and we honestly couldn't be happier with the care and support he’s received. From the very start, it was clear that he was in the most perfect setting – their home is warm, welcoming, and beautifully set up to encourage learning and play.
The range of activities provided is truly amazing. Each week is filled with thoughtful, themed activities that keep the children engaged and excited. From seasonal crafts to imaginative role play, there’s always something new and creative happening. Not to mention the fantastic days out they take the children on.
We've also seen huge progress in his development. With their help, he's learned so much – from recognising colours and counting confidently, to developing great social skills and independence. It’s clear how much time and care goes into supporting each child’s learning and wellbeing.
We’re so grateful to have found such a dedicated and nurturing childminder and have no hesitations in sending our sons new baby brother in a years time! It's been such a positive experience for our son, and for us as parents too. Thank you for everything you do!
Our daughter has been attending Annette and Tony’s childcare setting since she was 11 months old (2022), and she’ll be leaving in August to start at School.
We can’t express enough how grateful we are for the care, warmth, and education they’ve provided over these years.
Our daughter’s manners are a true credit to them! The variety of activities and the thought they put into each day is clearly reflected in what she brings home.
Our son will be starting with Annette and Tony in November, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to continue our journey with them.

My child started with Judy just before she turned 1. Initially I was nervous about choosing a childminder over a nursery but I am SO glad that I did - Judy’s was like a home from home for my wee girl. She made sure that she had ample settling in time at the start and was so reassuring, keeping me updated through WhatsApp. She is kind, caring and so thoughtful - my wee girl stopped going to her 3 weeks ago (only because I am going part time after summer and will no longer need any childcare) and she still asks for her daily! Judy’s home is so well equipped for children and she has an absolutely amazing garden that my daughter absolutely loved. Judy really took the time to get to know my daughter’s routines/likes/dislikes and it was clear that this helped her settle very quickly. I cannot recommend Judy enough - the children in her care and very lucky to be looked after by such a devoted childminder. x

Hayley has looked after my son for the last 2.5 years and we adore her and her lovely family. My son is so excited to spend his days with her - she has been amazing at supporting him (and me) and helped him developmentally. We feel so lucky to have found Hayley who is the most caring and loving childminder and a very special person.
Gulseren, cared for my little one with great attention and kindness. She is warm, friendly, and clearly has a deep love for children — her connection with babies is wonderful. She also supported me during this time, which I truly appreciated. She’s reliable, helpful, and has excellent English and communication skills. She was punctual and attentive to every detail I mentioned. I was very happy with her and chose to work with her again. I’d definitely consider working with her in the future and sincerely thank her for everything.

We couldn’t be happier with the care our child has received form Hayley. From day one, they have provided a warm, nurturing, and safe environment where our little one has truly thrived. The daily activities are always engaging and educational, and it’s clear how much thought goes into each day.
Our child comes home happy, well-fed, and full of stories about the fun they’ve had. The communication is excellent – we always know what’s going on, and any concerns or updates are shared promptly. It gives us such peace of mind knowing our child is in such capable and caring hands.

Max helped look after our son for the last three months while he’s been doing home based education. We were looking for a male nanny to take him out and do activities together. Max was great at doing lots of different sports and trips in the local area, one to two days per week. I’d recommend working with him, whether you have young or older children.
My daughter joined Keeley's care when she was 15 months old and has just left to start nursery in September.
My daughter has Downs Syndrome so had additional needs from Day 1. Keeley welcomed her in and immediately went about researching SEN support from the local borough to ensure that her and my daughter had all the tools and support they both needed in place in order to thrive.
Since being with Keeley my daughters development has come along in leaps and bounds. Social interaction, confidence, physical and behavioral development has improved tremendously and its been lovely to see! Thank you Keeley!
She is wonderful with my 9-month-old. My baby always seems content and settled after spending time with her. I feel confident leaving my child in her care and can see how much effort she puts into making sure all the children are safe and happy.
My daughter has been with Tabassum for a full year, and what a year it has been! From the first day, Tabassum created a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment that quickly put both of us at ease. Her home feels like a safe, happy, clean, bright, and full of thoughtful touches that show how much she cares.
Every day, Tabassum engages the children with a lovely blend of indoor crafts, outdoor play (the garden and trampoline are always a hit!), and healthy snacks. I’ve seen my daughter’s confidence and curiosity flourish under her attentive and gentle guidance.
The only reason we are ending is because I’m now on maternity leave and will be at home full-time. It’s bittersweet as my daughter absolutely adores her time with Tabassum, and we both feel very sad to leave such a genuinely loving and professional childminder.
I cannot recommend Tabassum highly enough, she’s been an incredible part of our lives, and any family would be lucky to have her!
Our son, 2.5 yrs old now has been with Andrea about 10 months now and we can see how much he has grown during this time. He has built confidence navigating between 2 languages and learning the 3rd gradually. Our son loves outdoors, different activities and exploring the nature, which is precisely what Andrea offers. She is such a fun lady who makes each day a fun learning experience to all the kids under her wings. We highly recommend Andrea to any new parent, who has work commitments and could use feeling less guilt, not being able to do too many fun activities with their child. Honestly, Thank you Andrea, you are a huge source of hope and brilliance.
We’ve been with Sharon for 2 and a half years, and it’s been a wonderful experience from start to finish. She offers not just childcare, but a warm, family-like environment where our children felt completely safe, happy, and loved. Her flexibility has been a lifesaver.
Sharons home is always clean, welcoming, and safe, and it’s clear that she takes great pride in creating a nurturing space. Our children have enjoying wholesome, home-cooked meals (especially the chicken curry) and socialising with the friends they have made.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a caring childminder. If you’re undecided, go with Sharon you won’t regret it. We would absolutely use her again in the future.
Helen has had my daughter since she was 3 months old and is now 4 and will be leaving Helen’s to go to reception if you are looking for someone who is down to earth and makes your child feel like it’s a home from home Helen is the lady for you if i had to do it all over again i would 100% choose helen she has helped in my daughters and sons development so much she is so kind and very caring, i have recommended Helen to friends and family who have all use her services. we are very sad to be saying goodbye
My little boy started here in September 2024 I was apprehensive at first as I was going back to work full time and he hadn’t spent much time with other children .
But since starting at bright stars he has come out his shell and has developed into a lovely little boy started. Siobhan has been very understanding of the fact I work full time and has been a star write my ever changing shedual , changing days when she can ect . Luca loves nursery and has his own nicknames for eveyone he has great friendships and had developed over the year. Love all the updates I’m left with his his diary and I always know what he’s eaten and done in the day ! Not to mention all the activities and party’s they have . There Instagram is lovely for the parents to get involved and see the children in the setting . He had his last day today (goes to big school ) and he didn’t even good bye he was that excited to see his friends ! Will definitely be coming back if we are blessed in the future so glad I went with brightstars xx
I sent both my daughter and son to Mi Casa and can honestly say that every day I knew my children were spoilt with love, care and fun every day. Mi Casa has the most incredible set-up being located next to the river and charming secret garden - the kids had the best time heading to the garden for play and picnics. I could not have dreamed of a more idyllic setting for my children. I would add that my son started when he was only 6 months - a time when most would feel reluctant to send their child to daycare, with my daughter already being there, I never had a single doubt in my mind about sending him. I was right - he had the best time. I’d also add that Mi Casa wasn’t the closest childminder’s or nursery to us by far - we drove through the traffic to get there as what mattered to us was our children’s happiness. I cannot speak highly enough of Mi Casa - you won’t regret it. I can also add that I had experience of 3 x children’s nurseries and it just doesn’t compare - nothing beats Mi Casa.
We decided to move our daughter from a day nursery at age 2 as she had never really settled and it was traumatic leaving her to go to work. We met with Kelly at her home, and from that first meeting, it was clear this lady would change all of our lives for the better. Our daughter has loved every minute of being with Kelly and the other children. She has developed her thirst for knowledge and independence. She is an August baby and has an underactive thyroid so I was worried that she may fall behind or not stay in line with other children. But I credit Kelly for ensuring she is working ‘above expected’ for her ahe and is developing more and more each day. Kelly is kind, nurturing and welcoming and makes every child feel heard and special. Deciding to use Kelly as your childminder will guarantee your child has the best start in life. We are going to miss her so much.
