About Me
Hi Im Jade. Im originally from Cornwall and I am very passionate about childcare. My approach to babysitting is fun, but I make sure any parental/carers wishes are followed! I enjoy singing and reading :)
Im a trained primary school teacher and find the skills and knowledge from this profession valuable in caring for children in domestic settings.
My Experience
I have been working in nurseries and babysitting on and off for 6 years. I have mainly babysat for friends of the family or nannied for children in the holidays.
Summer 2004 - Preschool assistant for Goslings preschool, Polgooth, Cornwall.
October 2004-May 2005 - Bank Nursery Nurse for Torwood House School, Bristol.
Summer 2009 - Nannied for two girls aged 6 and 3 during the school holidays.
My Qualifications
GCSEs - Maths (B), English (B), English Literature (A), Science (BB), French (B), German (B), Geography (B), Food (A), R.E (A), Child Development (A*).
Award of Excellence in CHild Development - September 2000.
A Levels - Geography (C), Sociology (C), French (D) and AS Level ICT (D).
BA (Hons) degree in Early Childhood Studies and Education Studies - 2:1 - June 2006
Qualified Teacher Status (Early Years 3-8 years) - August 2008
I have an up-to-date CRB check - November 2009.
I have recently completed training on the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum for Under Twos and Behavioural Management.
My Availability
Im available weekdays evenings and weekend evenings when booked in advance.
Im willing to travel up to a 20 mile radius.
My Fees
£6.50 per hour (before 12am)
£7 per hour (after midnight)
