About Me
I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since October 2006 but a childrens nanny in London for 16 years prior to this. I live in retford with my husband of 28 years and our 19 year old son.
I also nannied in retford for 2 doctors families and also for a family near Harrogate.
I worked at Lorne house school, in the nursery, when i first left school for 3 years.
My life has been dedicated to looking after children and I would like to keep it that way.
We like to be out and about in the mornings having fun as well as spending time at home enjoying the garden.
Having a positive relationship with parents is my ultimate goal as returning to work can be a stressful time so reassurance and confidence in childcare is paramount.
My Experience
I had 3 years at Lorne house private nursery school from leaving school.
I have nannied for a variety of different families for over 20 years, of which 16 years in London.
I have worked as a childminder since registering in 2006.
I gained a cache level 3 diploma in childcare learning and development in 2009.
I am fully insured.
I hold a current peadiatric first aid certificate.
I hold a current safeguarding children certificate.
I have a food hygiene certificate.
I have new born experience and twin experience.
I have escorted a child to New York to be with her mother.
My Qualifications
I have gained my ICP (introduction to childminding practice).
I have a current first aid certificate.
I have a food hygiene certificate.
I have recently completed an NVQ level 3 certificate for childcare, learning and development.
I have also completed a safe guarding/ child protection course.
I am aware of the need to keep all certificates upto date so attend courses every 2-3 years to update.
