Leah is so great we sent our son back!

We took our son Damon out of childcare for a year as I had another baby and was at home full time but after that time had passed we went straight back to Leah!
He is a very energetic but has learnt to listen, be kind to others (he used to hit and bite) and sit still to listen to Leah reading books. Leah sets up play doh, painting and trains which he loves there’s always a range of activities. It’s also great that they go out for the day like to the farm and blue reef he loves to tell me about what he saw. Whenever we get ready for the day he will always ask ‘are we going to Leah’s house’ even on days he doesn’t go.
We are currently potty training him which Leah is incredibly supportive of. She has given us some ideas on how to get him out of nappies like a star chart.
He has also learnt what numbers look like and can match the word to the visual he has also become very curious about letters.
We hope to send our daughter one day as we are very impressed with the level of care and progression Damon is making.

Goes the extra mile

Our daughter has been with Leah for a couple of years now, and we couldn't be happier with Leah as a childminder. Our daughter has a genetic condition, and Leah tailors the care beautifully to help and accommodate her special needs. We can see that our daughter is progressing almost daily, and that's a lot to do with Leah's care. She will, for instance, spend time with our daughter in her walker, to help her progress with her mobility. Our daughter is now using a fork, and sitting up unaided, which are incredible steps forward, and so much of this is due to Leah's patience and dedication to helping our daughter in these areas.

In addition, our daughter absolutely loves going to Leah's. When we arrive outside the door, she gets excited to see Leah, and is totally at ease in the setting. She is really well integrated too with the other (non special-needs) kids that Leah looks after, and we really appreciate this integration, as it definitely helps with her progress and socialisation.

Finally, I say go the extra mile for many reasons, but here's an example that is extraordinary. I'm English, but her mum is French, so our daughter is being brought up bilingual, and Leah takes French classes on duolinguo in order to practise French with her! Simply incredible.

In short, we feel very lucky to have found such a lovely, professional, dedicated and caring childminder.

Best childminder ever

Our son loves coming to Leah’s. She does so much with the children which we are so grateful for. She is so fun and bubbly and all the children love her. I love the updates and photos I get when I am at work. Couldn’t wish for a better person to look after our son.

We love Leah 😊

We love bringing my Son Damon to a Leah’s he started with her when he was 8months old as we wanted him to have more one on one time as he was young and didn’t want to leave him in a nursery. Leah is great as she takes them out and does more with him on the days he’s there than we can do as a full time worker and my husband as a uni student. We also love getting pictures on the days he’s so the Leah 🥰 he has grown so much with her!

Best childminder ever!

Our son has been with Leah for 6 months now and my god what a difference she has made!

We made the decision at Christmas to move him out of a nursery and into a childminder, due to wanting him to get more one on one support.

Leah is amazing, she’s helped us and our son develop so much in these six months. Always encouraging to try new things, takes the kids out at least once a day (weather permitting), send regular updates and pictures.

We couldn’t be happier with Leah’s care and would highly recommend her to anyone needing a childminder in the area.

Leah you have changed our life! Thank you!

Fabulous childminder

Leah is a great childminder, and has taken care of our daughter so well. She's really helpful, friendly and our daughter loves being there. They do lots of really nice things, like going to her allotment, going out into the countryside, and you get a lovely write-up each day about what they have done. I couldn't be happier with her as a childminder, and would highly recommend her.

Fantastic childminder!

We have been with Leah for 10 months now and we are very glad we have found her! Our daughter (now 16 month) enjoyed Leah from day one and is always super happy to go at her place. Our daughter has some special needs and Leah has been a very open-minded childminder since the beginning. We feel really lucky about it and feel very confident that she will provide the best care to our little one.
Leah is super lovely, flexible and funny and it is always a pleasure to bring or pick up our daughter. Leah offers plenty of activities to the children in her care. Even if our daugther is still litlle, she enjoys the company of the others and is taking part in the forest and beach walks, gardening activities, visits to the aquarium, etc. When our daugther was younger, Leah booked at several occasions a sensorial room for her so that she could get an optimal environment to fully develop. Leah always provides a summary of the activities they did during the day and we really enjoy reading about it. She sends some pictures through Whatsapp as well, which is reassuring. Our daughter is doing amazingly well in Leah's care and so far, she has never been sick which is I guess an advantage compared to larger settings.
Leah really is fantastic, and we feel extremely grateful that our daughter is being cared for by her :)

Amazing lady

Our little boy has been going to Leah’s since he was 14 months (now 30 months) and he has loved it since day 1! On the days he doesn’t go to Leah he is always asking when we’re going to Leah’s and when he’s going to get to see Bruce and his friends!
He’s learnt so much from Leah and comes home everyday with something new! She also provides lunch and so he gets to try new things I wouldn’t necessarily make
She’s flexible and super accommodating and has a genuine love for her job and the children she cares for.

Even with covid she has done all sorts with the children and has kept things as normal as possible so the children are anxious about the pandemic etc

All in all I couldn’t recommend Leah anymore than I do! She’s fabulous

Flexible and fun

My two year old has been going to Leahs for a year now and he loves spending his time there with his friends. Leah always sends picture updates with the activities they have been doing and has a really lovely relationship with him. Leah also is willing to be flexible and has a fun energy which the kids love!

Amazing Childcare!

We have been with Leah now for a year and I cannot speak highly enough about her. Our now almost 2 year old daughter from day one has loved going to Leah’s!
Leah has a warm, inviting, caring personality and it was immediately evident that we made a great choice in terms of childcare. Leah does so much with children in her care, from music groups to trips to Staunton farm, to beach days, playground visits, and even while at home-the paddling pool comes out or the children can play in the garden. It’s never easy to leave your child but Leah makes it easy as she develops such a strong bond with the children in her care that you know they are with the next best thing to you. She’s flexible and accommodating and our daughter has rarely been sick (a huge benefit being with a childminder vs nursery in my opinion). She really is a gem, and we are so glad that our daughter is being cared for by her!
