Absolutely Wonderful

Reviewed

We employed Amy to look after our 5.5mnth old daughter when I returned to work earlier than expected, and I can't praise her enough, she's an absolute godsend and we are sad to be letting her go. We are moving back to Australia. If we could take her, we would be!

Our daughter is our first child, and we had no idea what to expect from a nanny. When we first met Amy she showed an enviable passion for her profession and a wealth of experience. Amy took the time to walk us through her approach to childcare. It was so helpful to have her guide us through the process and map out expectations. We worked from home during this time due to Covid, and having parents in the house can be a challenge for a Nanny, however, Amy was adaptable, flexible and let me sneak in as many cuddles as I could.

Amy helped walk us through routines, helping sort her sleep, and helping her transition from exclusive breastfeeding to combination feeding (which was challenging as Leila was a bottle refuser before Amy). Whenever she could see something that could be improved, she took the time to explain the issue, and used her strong experience to explain what she thought could fix it, and agreed on a plan.

Amy is proactive with activities, has a lovely network of nanny friends and is great at organising fun and engaging things for our baby. Leila has thrived in her care. Amy is great at planning, and communicates and always checks in, to ensure activities are in line with what we were ok with and would articulate what she felt would help Leila's development.

Amy is a very engaging Nanny, and she puts her whole self into her work. An absolute pleasure to have in the home, and any parent and child would be lucky to have her as a Nanny.
