About Me
We are a family of 5, we have a 5 year old and a 4 year old, both boys, and a 19 month girl. I am an Accountant and my husband is a lawyer but I am currently managing a large self build project which is proving very demanding.
We are therefore looking for an experienced, patient, nurturing and fun loving professional to provide help after school for an hour or two for a few days a week (hours negotiable). In particular, we require someone to support our 5 year olds reading and writing practice as well as keeping an eye and providing a 2nd pair of hands with the other two.
Someone who is structured and able to set clear boundaries and who can be organised and hands on with play will be appropriate. Elementary school teaching experience / qualifications would also be ideal.
We live a 10 minute drive from Cheltenham, overlooking the park at Swindon village. I think most people will find this placement a joy - the kids are lovely personalities.
My Requirements
1-2 hours for 3-4 days a week M-Th.
Year 1 level tutoring/practice in reading and writing 3 times a week.
Fine motor skill activities e.g arts and crafts, cooking.
Occasional outings or other physical activities e.g. to park, play cricket etc.
Supervision, interaction and play, stimulation, provide refreshments and support where required.
