About Me
Hi, my name is Isla Williams, I am 36 & live in Hull.
Nannying, for me, is not just a job. I find it very rewarding and have been lucky to work with some lovely children & their families.
When looking after children I like to do everything from taking them to the park & playing to reading & baking.
I have a good combination of patience & imagination, two things I find are always required when caring for children of any age!
I do not drive, but I am in the process of learning. However I can get everywhere by public transport. I am willing to travel for the right job.
My Experience
Over the past 9 years, I have nannied for children ranging in age from birth to 15.
I have experience working in a pre-school where I assisted in looking after children & creating classes with the teacher for children aged 2 to 6 years.
I have experience working in a nursey, in babies, toddlers, and pre-school.
I worked at Park Resorts a few years ago as a children's entertainer. I recently completed a contact with my bf at Penstowe Manor running all the entertainment.
I am also a children's entertainer, I have run the entertainment for children's parties. New years Eve, birthday, and Xmas.
I have been a babysitter for over 10 years for both family & friends & and other families through word of mouth recommendation.
My Qualifications
I have been CRB checked & have first aid training.
I have great references & lots of experience with children of all ages but no formal childcare qualifications.
I am not ofstead registered, as I haven't needed to be in previous jobs.
However, I am willing to be for the right family.
I work full time as a nursery nurse for an agency during the week.
I am free for evening babysitting and weekends :)
My Availability
My circumstances have changed now. I have a 9 month old little girl. So, i will be looking for a placement with her or around her schedule with my partner.

I charge £11 per hour, depending on the number of children & their/your requirements.

Saved the day. I required last minute after school care due to a job interview and Isla was brilliant and rang straight back. My boys loved the home setting.

I cannot recommend Isla highly enough, having joined us only 5 months ago, she is now firmly part of the family. My daughters aged 5 & 11 adore her & I get to come home every day to happy children that have been entertained, exercised, fed, even bathed & assisted with their homework when needed. Isla is reliable, capable & professional (just what parents need) and also fun, imaginative & kind (just what the children need).

Overall
I recently needed someone to spend the whole day with my kids and, after checking her references, hired Isla sight-unseen. It was an enormous leap of faith but totally worthwhile. The kids (and dog!) had a great day with her and can't wait for me to ask her back - which I will definitely do.

Isla has looked after all of my children on a number of occasions. She is reliable, capable and the children love her. I would not hesitate in recommending her for any childminding or babysitting job (apart from then she would have less availability when I need her!).
